"The Church invites you to fail to recognize the presence of God is the supreme tragedy of life. To fear the presence of God is the supreme terror of life. To seek the presence of God is supreme wisdom. To know his presence is the fullest joy. To be fitted for his presence is the highest achievement."
The worship service creates an atmosphere conducive to fellowship with God. Why not accept the invitation and COME TO CHURCH NEXT SUNDAY?

Our Preacher Says
A Lie
The essence of lying is in deception, not in words; a lie may be told by silence, by equivocation, by the accent on a syllable, by a glance of the eyes attaching a peculiar significance to a sentence, and all these kinds of lies are worse and baser, by many degrees, than a lie plainly worded.
—John Ruskin.
The Christian life should be one of endless seeking to attain higher living.
One has more life as he has less things.—E. S. Jones.

CHRISTIAN SCIENCE
"Teach me thy way, O Lord; will walk in thy truth." This statement from the Psalms will be the Golden Text of the Sunday Lesson Sermon on "Truth" in all branches of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston.
In a Scriptural passage from Matthew, Jesus said to the palsied man, "Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee. And, ... the scribes said within themselves. This man blasphemeth. And Jesus knowing their thoughts said Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts? For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house And he arose, and departed to his house."
Mary Baker Eddy says in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures: "Truth is God's remedy for error of every kind, and Truth destroys only what is untrue. Hence the fact that, today, as yesterday, Christ casts out evils and heals the sick."
