Lorraine Remillard-San Francisco Man Wed at St. Boniface Church
Lovely in a lace trimmed gown of white marquisette, Miss Lorraine Remillard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Remillard of 853 North Zeyn street, Anaheim, became the bride of Jack Gilpin, son of Mrs. E. H. Gilpin of 46 Alpine Terrace, San Francisco, Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the sanctuary of St. Boniface Catholic church, with the Rev. Father Coleman reciting the nuptial Mass for the double-ring formal ceremony.
The young couple plighted their troth before an altar arranged with white gladioli, pale pink larkspur and ferns. Nosegays of gladioli blended with pale pink satin ribbon accented the pews. A white carpet marked the aisle.
The bride's gown was designed with an off-shoulder bertha trimmed with lace, a high round neckline of net, long sleeves accented with lace and a full skirt tapering to a train. Her long veil entrain was caught to a heart shaped crown of net trimmed with orange blossoms. A cascade of white orchids and stephanotis formed the bridal bouquet. She was given in marriage by her father.
Mrs. Rolly Anderson of Tustin, matron of honor, was gowned in violet marquisette fashioned with an off-shoulder bertha, trimmed with pale, ping lace, a round neckline of net short sleeves and full stist. More than 150 guests witnessed the nuptials.
White and pink blossoms were arranged on the white mantel of the bride's parents' home where the reception was held immediately following the ceremony.
For the occasion Mrs. Remillard, the bride's mother, chose a biege dress, accessories worn with an orchid corsage trimmed with lilac ribbon. Mrs. Gilpin, mother of the bridegroom, wore a honey beige dress, brown accessories and a brown orchid corsage.
Assisting with the reception duties were Mrs. Charett who served the cake, Mrs. Donald Hendricks, aunt of the bride, in charge of the punch bowl, and Mrs. Victor Aubert, aunt of the bride, in charge of the guest book.
After cutting and sharing the first piece of their four-tiered wedding cake which was surrounded with pale pink carnations witnessed during our trip," Yorde who is salesman for Durkee Farms Foods in Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino counties laughed. The family left her June 9 and returned Sunday.
Big bass were nabbed by the local travelers at Rock River, Wisconsin, where they enjoyed the hospitality of their friends, Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Neuman, owner of the Snug Harbor camp by the river. Of special interest was a visit to Yorde's old home in Madison, Wisconsin. They had reunion with friends and relatives through out Wisconsin after a lapse of many years.
"In the eastern and southern states business is good; crops are good, but cars are just as hard to obtain as they are 'way out here in the west,'" remarked Yorde.

Mrs. Rolly Anderson of Tustin, matron of honor, was gowned in violet marquisette fashioned with an off-shoulder bertha, trimmed with pale ping lace, a round neckline of net, short sleeves and full skirt worn with a picture hat of matching net. A sorority sister of the bride, as were the other two bridal attendants, she carried a nosegay of 'Better-times' roses. Bride's maids were Miss Jean Rogan of Burbank and Mrs. Vernon Weeks of Los Angeles, both wearing gowns of violet marquisette fashioned identically to that of the matron of honor. Both carried nosegays of pale pink carnations.
Serving as best man was George Catlin of Los Angeles. Ushers were Alfred Saroni of San Francisco, Stewart McPherson of San Francisco and Victor Remillard, brother of the bride.
Miss Edith Browne, dramatic soprano of this city, the nuptial soloist, sang "Ave Maria" and "The Lord's Prayer" accompanied by Mrs. A. F. Faust, church organ-

This weather condition—cold blasts of rain interspersed with natural fireworks—lightning, occurred first when the family, all good Republicans, entered the Democratic state of Missouri, and again when they visited President ribbon.
After cutting and sharing the first piece of their four-tiered wedding cake which was surrounded with pale pink carnations and ferns, and topped with a bell the newlyweds left on a week's honeymoon to Santara Barbara and Carmel. Upon their return they will live in Beverly Hills.

Guests included Mrs. E. Remillard the bride's grandmother, and Mrs. Arthur Charett, aunt of the bride, both of whom came from Manchester, New Hampshire, for the occasion, and Mrs. Bailey, aunt of the bridegroom, who came from Wyoming to attend the uptials.
