Woods; five sons, Jimmy Dean, Jerry Lee, Richard Wayne, Alfred LeRoy, Clifton Roger, and one daughter, Joyce Eileen Woods, all at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Knowles, of Wichita, Kansas; six sisters, one of whom is Mrs. Evelyn Darrah, of Santa Ana, and one brother, all of Wichita, Kansas. Interment was in Melrose Abbey cemetery. Southland Water Use to Exceed 12 Billion Gallons Colorado River water use in southern California cities during the next 12 months will top the 50 billion gallon mark. This prediction was made today by Julian Hinds, general manager of the Metropolitan Water District, following a survey of anticipated water requirements in the 28 cities that are members of the district. 3 Billion Increase Hinds estimated that the increase over last year will be at least three billion gallons and will set a new record for water delivery by the 457 mile aqueduct system. "Colorado River water is the only supply that can meet the steadily increasing growth of population and industry here," Hinds said. Supply Endangered "Our share of that supply is in danger of being seriously deduced through attempts by Arizona to get Congressional approval of a huge new irrigation project that could be operated only by taking water that belongs to the people of southern California," Hinds warned. More than 3,500,000 persons now live in the 28 cities and other areas included in the survey of water requirements made by the Metropolitan Water District. ANDRES GRADUATES FROM CAL TECH J.
