Big Time Planned for P.-T.A. Carnival Work of the past two months to make the Parents and Teachers Association carnival a big success will be climaxed on Friday afternoon and evening, March 4, when the event will find a carnival midway equal to a professional exhibition with its hot-dog and hamburger stands, hit the nigger-baby, ring the bottles and the many other things that are associated with carnival spirit. This super-event will be held at the high school, in the boys' gymnasium. Assisting the Parents and Teachers group are all of the high school clubs. The money raised from this event will be used for welfare work of the P.-T.A. Dinner will be served from 5 o'clock until "?" in the high school cafeteria and a most excellent menu is promised. Later in the evening, 8 o'clock, a dance will be held in the girls gymnasium to which the public is invited. The carnival was a yearly event prior to the war and as it is being resumed again this year a cordial invitation is extended to the townspeople to come and help make this event an outstanding one. A special invitation is extended to students of all Anaheim schools and their parents. A nominal fee of ten cents will be charged for admission to the carnival and thirty-five cents for the dance. At the food booths, home-made pies, cakes and other foods will be offered to the buying public. All organizations of the school and the P.-T.A. have worked hard to make this carnival the best ever presented here and they make this event an outstanding one.
