that is and not too well politically. Admission, it is reported, has been charged at most of his meetings and the 'house' was very good in many places. Many folks thought that here was the chance to see a good show and as it would cost money to go to a theater they might as well go out to see Henry's act. Down south Henry kept his expenses to a minimum—he did not even pay for the eggs that were used in the act.
It is tough enough being in the newspaper business these days but on the other hand being a football coach in the Pacific Coast Conference and having to play Big Nine teams is something we would not like to face. It looks like the boys playing the men. Out here we will have to fall back on the old bromide that we are building character and are moulding the minds of our young men into the highest aesthetic standards. What else is there? Our two southern teams certainly don't know too much about blocking, tackling and handling the ball. Perhaps our coaches should sit in the chair of philosophy. The game of football teaches team play and fierce physical contact is the essence of good play. Without this ingredient your team is a dud. What we need is another Howard Jones, Knute Rockne or Pop Warner in his prime. They taught that it is more Godly to give a block than to receive one. SC and UCLA need a little more of this old-fashioned gospel.

becoming widely known with many nationally advertised brands of baby products as well as local assistance being offered. This week Pet Milk has given the wee ones a year's supply of milk and the doctor is changing their formula in order to take advantage of it. Gerber Baby Foods have added their products for the trio's disposal. A registered nurse has cheerfully given her time a few hours each day until the young mother is stronger and able to cope with so much added responsibility. There is also a two-year-old daughter. The Cypress Chamber of Commerce voted a gift of $25 for the little boys and there are containers in all the business houses where coins may be dropped for their aid. An ad appearing in the local paper this week by the Diaper Service of the F. & F. Laundry of Santa Ana reads: "We are keeping the triplets, Larry, Lynn and Lyle DRY."
On Wednesday morning at ten o'clock townspeople gathered at the home of Mrs. Richard Hathcock to sew for the youngsters. It was in the nature of a shower, only money to buy materials and busy fingers were asked for instead of each one bringing a gift, so that all the little garments might be of the same quality. A delicious luncheon was served at noon by Mrs. Hathcock assisted by Mrs. Bott and Mrs. Priddy as co-hostesses. Since the Weigerts had planned for only one child, and it was found there were possibly twins expected, and since the three little fellows decided to put in their appearance a wee bit earlier than even twins were expected, one can readily imagine the problem confronting the young parents. Some seventy-five people contributed either time and money or both to build up the young masters wardrobes.
