Wins Snapshot Prize with Photo Of Trained Pets
With a picture of a Collie holding a bottle of milk for a goat, William L. Lytle of Yorba Linda won first prize in the Animal class in the sixth week of the Los Angeles Times-sponsored amateur snapshot contest Monday.
Lytle, Yorba Linda rancher and electrician, began his collection of Collies many years ago when he rescued a young Collie pup which had been entrapped in the oil of a well sump. He washed off and began to train it and has been highly successful in training dogs ever since.
Photographing his pets is a more recent hobby.
