These pets, stricken last week from a concoction wieners and strychnine, make total of seven poisoned here within two weeks. A blond cocker called "Honey well known as the pooch in the Valencia hotel lobby died as the result of the dog hater's activities. The spaniel belonged to Mrs. Milidleton of 501 North Lemon street. Seriously ill is a poodle belonging to Charley Davis, 620 North Zeyn street. A friendly terrier succumbed last week. It was owned by Mr. William Trapp, Sr., 324 North Lemon street. A pert fox terrier belonging to Mrs. Tom Vall of 758 North Claucina street barely escaped the violent and agonizing death wrought by strychnine poisoning. Tentatively scheduled is a reward for information leading to whereabouts and the identity of the person or persons unknown committing this misdemeanor which is causing grief to children and adults of these families concerned. This (Thursday) morning two more dogs were reported poisoned. Mrs. Mary Hatfield, 128 West Sycamore street, reported to police officials that her little red female dog was having convulsions. According to Spencer it is a purse ("with personality plus." He had it taken to Dr. C. M. Miller, VMD of the Anaheim Pet hospital, Lincoln avenue at Loara road. Brunemeier of Placentia, passed away at Fullerton General hospital early Tuesday morning after a short illness. Born in Iowa 57 years ago she had resided in Placentia for the past six years and was secretary to her brother, Dr. Edward H. Brunemeier of that city. The deceased was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren church of Hubbard, Iowa. She was associated with the Margaret Williamson hospital in Shanghai, China, for more than twelve years, returning to this country to remain. Surviving are four brothers, Dr. Brunemeier of Placentia, Rev. Henry C. Brunemeier of Boxholm, Iowa; Fred H. and Theodore E. Brunemeier, both of Hubbard; two sisters, Mrs. Lydia C. Eller of Eldora, Iowa, and Mrs. Esther Ada Patterson of Port Huron, Michigan. Funeral services will be conducted from the Hilgenfeld chapel Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Philip R. The family home was at 308 Crowther street, Placentia. Born in Chihuahua, Mexico, he had lived in California since 1920 and in this vicinity since 1937. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Francisco Rancon of Placentia; one son, Valentine Rancon, Placentia; one daughter, Mrs. Rose Tafolia of Placentia, and twenty grandchildren. Rosary was held at the chapel of Backs, Campbell and Kaulbars mortuary Thursday evening at 7:30 with Mass at St. Joseph church in Placentia on Friday morning (tomorrow) at 9 o'clock. Mrs. Stephen Schaffer, 538 West Malvern, Fullerton, became the mother of a baby daughter Monday, at the Fullerton Cottage hospital. The newcomer, Stephanie Jill, weighed seven pounds and four ounces. Mrs. Schaffer is the former Geraldine Wolfe of Fullerton and widow of the late Stephen Schaffer of Anaheim.
