Schultz Furniture Open House Set For Fri.-Sat. Introducing their newest acquisition for the comfort of their patrons, the personnel of Aaron Schultz Furniture at 301 West Center street, are holding open house next Friday and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. when they will officially open their new mezzanine floor recently built across the rear of the large store room and where they will feature the finest maple furniture obtainable. The public is cordially invited to inspect the displays and view the beautiful colonial types of furniture Mr. Segrais, manager, has purchased for the buying public. Built entirely of knotty pine and carpeted with a beautiful soft green rug, the displays are further enhanced by the newest lights with softly draped window treatments against attractively papered walls. The displays are most tastefully arranged to give the prospective buyer and shopper the fullest sense of the beauty of maple furniture. Three contrasting wall types are used in the new section to show the various settings to which this type of furniture can be used. The large display windows at the front are being completely refinished with fresh paint and new carpet on the floors and will also contain the newest in fine furniture displays for the opening event. The Schultz furniture is one of the finer stores in Orange county, carrying a complete line of household furnishings from the smallest item to the largest piece of furniture or complete suite for the home. Mitchell, who is a Pacific coast member of the executive committee of the National Association of Real Estate boards, returned recently from a series of realtor meetings in Washington, D.C. He will discuss both national and state affairs. "Our state president recently has suggested plans for private capital to buy the government out of the housing business," states Pickard of the local board. "This proposal has been advanced as a program to liquidate as quickly as possible the government subsidized projects." "Another program of particular interest to southern California realtors," Pickard said, "is a proposal of the state association to sponsor, this year, a series of two-day educational clinics or forums which may include this community in an itinerary to be followed by a group of prominent California educator-realtors. Our local board is encouraging advanced educational work among our members," he added. The boards purpose is the support of educational and ethical standards which are above the requirements of our state license law and active cooperation with this program for the benefit of business and clients," commented Pickard. Many Orange county and district business men will attend the Santa Ana meeting. To date more than thirty Anaheim real estate men have registered. Anaheim business men wishing to attend should make reservations before the end of this week with Gene Baker, Anaheim 2254. The Santa Ana board is in charge of general arrangements.
