Radiant in white satin, Miss Margaret Frieda Sulzer,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Kissling, 1731 North Pioneer boulevard, Norwalk, became the bride of Frank A. Braddock,
Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Braddock, Sr., of 619 North Clementine street, Anaheim, Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in semi-formal rites solemnized in the sanctuary of St. Boniface Catholic church of this city, with Rev. Father Henry Gross, assisted by Father James Gallagher, reciting the nuptial mass for the double-ring ceremony.
The young couple plighted their troth before an all white altar arranged with fall blossoms, potted palms and lighted cathedral candelabra. White satin ribbons marked the pews.
Enhancing the bride's loveliness was the modish styling of her gown. The drop shoulder line was accented with a lace flounce and contrasted with the fitted bodice and full skirt. Her finger-tip length veil cascaded from a coronet of matching lace.
Given in marriage by her stepfather, W. A. Kissling, the bride carried a bouquet of white carnations, bouvardia and satin ribbon surrounding a removable orchid corsage.
Lawrence Braddock. Ushers included Norbert Eimers, John Harpster, Dean Narath and Albert Sulzer, brother of the bride.
Preceding the ceremony, William Fackiner of Anaheim, nuptial soloist, sang "Panis Angelicus" by Franc and "The Lord's Prayer" accompanied by Mrs. A. F. Faust at the organ, who also played the traditional wedding marches.
More than 300 friends and relatives greeted the newlyweds in the church hall immediately following the ceremony. Mother of the bride, Mrs. Kissling, chose a brown ensemble and brown accessories. Mrs. Braddock, the bridegroom's mother, was attired in a plum colored dress accented with black accessories. Both mothers had corsages of Vanda orchids.
At 3:30 o'clock that afternoon, guests gathered in the Norwalk were encircled by the ring of yellow flowers.
The newlyweds were seated at the center table with the main honor, Miss Hand, and the man, Larry Braddock, who acted as master of ceremonies for entertainment program.
A delicious turkey dinner was enjoyed by the group.
Appearing on the stage during the dinner hour was the "A Dube Trio" who interpreted blue ground music. The accordionist came a minstrel, playing solos accompanying the bridal court rendition of "Let Me Call Sweetheart."
Miss Hand, the maid of honour caught the traditional wedding bouquet thrown by the bride's brother, Albert Sulzer became the proud possessor of "blue garter" thrown by her bridegroom.
Closing selection, concluding reception, was "Margie," played by honor of the new Mrs. Braddock.
For travelling the bride worked black skirt accented with a gold jacket trimmed in sequins and black French beret and purse. The orchid corsage from her wedding bouquet graced her lapel.
The bride is a graduate of Celsior Union high school and been associated with a radio advertising company in Los Angeles.

Other attendants to the bride included Mrs. Ella Sulzer and Miss Rosemary Kundig. Both wore identical gowns of peacock blue faille and carried bouquets of gold chrysanthemums.
Miss Rosalie Sulzer was the flower girl. She was attired in a frock of pastel aqua.

Rehearsing With Opera Company
Now rehearsing for roles in Traviata" and "The Barber of ville" are Miss Edith Browne and Albert M. Cranston, both of Anaheim-Fullerton vicinity in near future. Maestro Mimi Canella is the impressario, Camachio de la Vega, director.
Mondays and Fridays Mr. Browne is rehearsing the role "Flora," in English, as the soprano lead in the comedy "La Traviata" to be presented in the original Italian. For "The Barber of ville" she is learning the role "Bertha," the maid.
A student of Cranston, Mr. Browne is also understudying leading feminine roles on the association billing of the 1947 opera season.
Cranston will interpret heavy basso role of "Basilo" "The Barber of Seville."
Artesia Church To Stage Big Benefit Bazaar
Plans for an all-day bazaar are barbecued beef dinner, to be held under the auspices of the All Society of the Holy Family church of Artesia next Saturday and Sunday, are being rapidly completed. Father Patrick O'Conner, pastor and Mrs. John C. Sullivan, bazaar chairman, stated today. They joined in inviting all Orange county citizens to attend the event at D.E.S. hall, Twelfth and Vine streets, Artesia.

Saturday Concert
Fortunio Bonanova, opera, stage and screen singer and actor, will be presented in concert Saturday night at 8:30 o'clock in the Anaheim Union high school auditorium by Mary Bran of Los Angeles. A sound motion picture in color of the Spanish baritone will be featured in addition to his personal appearance. In a recent program, Bonanova appeared as guest soloist with full symphony orchestra at the Pan-American Bowl in Mexico City.

Farewell Party Honors Miss Lia Bertrand Monday
Miss Lia Bertrand was the honoree of a surprise party given as a friendly farewell gesture by Misses Wanda Chambers and Margaret Garrett in the F. S. Garrett home, 127 West Valencia street. Monday evening. Miss Bertrand will leave Sunday for San Francisco where she will reside with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Bertrand, formerly of Anaheim.
Since last July, the honored guest has made her home with the Garrets'. Well known in Anaheim, she attended Fullerton Junior college and, until recently, has been associated with the local branch of the Bank of America. She is an active member of Los Miguelitos, young people's group of St. Michael's Episcopal church of this city.
Enjoying delectable refreshments and conversation, in addition to the honored guest and the co-hostesses, were Edna Wheat, Alberta Bauman, Kathleen Austin and Florence Braunlich.
Unable to attend but sending best wishes were Charlene Jaggers, Betty Red and Betty Reimer.
Organize Fuchsia Society Branch
The Garden Grove branch of the National Fuchsia Society of America, held its initial meeting Monday evening at 8 o'clock in the Garden Grove Women's club. A representative group of members from throughout the county attended the session.
Purpose of the meeting was to organize a branch of the society in each district of Orange county.
Noted Pianist Speaks Before Kiwanis Club

Sunday, a barbecued beef dinner will be served from noon to 9 o'clock that night. The bazaar festival will be climaxed by the distribution of grand prizes donated by Artesia and Bellflower merchants. A television set, home freezing unit, washing machine, wrist watch and two radios will be given to lucky winners.
All proceeds from the two-day bazaar will go to the building fund of Our Lady of Fatima school and social center, for which ground is to be broken in the near future. The fund goal is $10,000 or more, members of the altar society disclosed.
Name Beta Sigma Phi Sponsor
In an impressive candlelight ceremony, Mrs. H. M. Peterson was installed as sponsor of the Anaheim chapter of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority, Monday evening at Cary's restaurant in Santa Ana. Miss Helen Sharp officiated for the affair and cordially welcomed members during the dinner meeting. She was assisted by Mildred Mauerhan.
Talisman roses, the sorority flower, were arranged on the long banquet table. Guest enjoying the event was Audrey Vail of Fullerton.

White Temple Class to Have Tea and Bazaar
The Fidelis class of the White Temple Methodist church have planned a most entertaining tea and bazaar next Tuesday in the church basement. An entertaining musical program will be given. Money derived from this event will be used for the relief of Chinese orphans. The public is cordially invited to attend and help in this work.
On Wednesday, November 26, members of White Temple church will gather at the First Presbyterian church for union Thanksgiving services.

Noted Pianist Speaks Before Kiwanis Club
Dorothy Simpson Smith, internationally known concert pianist, was one of the guest speakers at the regular luncheon meeting of the Anaheim Kiwanis club Tuesday noon in the Elks club. She will be guest soloist with the Orange County Philharmonic Symphony orchestra November 29, in the high school auditorium here.
Introduced by Jackie Tatum, season program chairman for the talented group of Orange county musicians who are directed by Miss Norma L. Perkins of Orange, Miss Smith congratulated the Kiwanis club on their sponsorship of the orchestra.
Presiding over the business session was Norbert Faessel, president, who welcomed the Indianborn artist.
"I feel that this symphony orchestra offers an exceptional opportunity to young musicians to improve their technique and gain valuable experience playing sections of professional caliber," Miss Smith stated.
"Although I have pltyed with many groups both on the east coast and in Europe, never before have I enjoyed the association with an organization so much."
