Orange county's share for its unincorporated area is $29,846. Half the total of $2,654,185 collected in California in the six months period is retained by the state. This is the last allocation to be made on the old basis. In April of next year a major portion of the fees will be returned to communities, and thereafter 100 per cent of the money will be returned to the local communities.
