To Attend Red Cross Conclave
Red Cross program plans for 1947-48 will be discussed during a two-day regional conference in San Bernardino, October 20 and 21, to be attended by two representatives of the Anaheim chapter, Mrs. L. N. Wisser, local chairman, announced. She will be a delegate with Mrs. P. M. Wheeler, executive-secretary of the Anaheim chapter.
The San Bernardino chapter will be host to visiting delegations from nearby chapters, to the Pacific area office staff members and field representatives during the conclave.
First aid, water safety, accident prevention, nutrition service, nursing service, volunteer service, disaster service, home service and chapter administration will occupy prominent positions on the agenda.
Chapter representatives will return to their respective cities with latest information concerning Red Cross programs and with ideas gathered from other chapters to aid in carrying out and promoting better services for the residents of their communities, Mrs. Wisser stated.

Thursday Honors Frances Walton
A number of relatives and close friends were guests in the home taken from an airplane at an altitude of 13,00 feet, showing the beauty of the north country as seen from above. Colored photography is a hobby of Mr. Hoskins and his three sons, and the collection is one of extremely beautiful studies, a group of camera shots worthy of the most experienced photographer.
Miss Walton attended the local schools and studied voice for a number of years with teachers in Chicago and Los Angeles and was associated with operatic companies in both Chicago and New York. During the recent war, she was in WAC service and spent two years on foreign duty in England and France.
Following the wedding in Yuma Saturday evening, the young couple, who were attended by the bridegroom's sister and brother-in-law of Los Angeles, returned to the bride's home at 825 North Clementine street, this city, where they will reside.
Mr. Horner is associated with the Southern Counties Gas Company in Los Angeles.

Membership stars have been ordered for girls who have completed one year's active service in the troop. Four badges must be earned in each field, she continued. Some fifth grade Brownie fly-ups are expected to join the troop.

To Open Deer Season in Utah
Journeying via light truck and jeep they entered Yosemite from Merced then went on north and east through Senora, Long Barn and finally spidered into Trout Creek. Returning, they were stalled by a herd of cattle. Two buck deer were viewed out of season by the group. Mrs. Banta noticed large quantities of chipmonks and sage hens, while shivering on the trip. "We're going to dress for Utah, though," she remarked cheerfully.
