The quality of the competition provided and the size of the crea which it drew so satisfied Anaheim Junior Chamber of Commerce with its first annual intational swim meet, held Monday at the City Park plunge, that is already looking forward to year's event.
Top honors were carried off the Ballshe Swim club of Huntington Beach with a total score of 70 points. In second spot Fullerton with a total of 59 points Anaheim scored 16 points, North Harbor 10 and Pomona 1.
The crowd was estimated over 300 with an additional looking on from outside the fence.

150 yard medley relay—Ball (West, Nitzhowski and Swan Second, Fullerton; Third, Fullerton. Time—1:34.1.
50 yard free style—First, Swan (Ballshe); second, Millet (Fullerton); third, Spears (Fullerton). Time—26.6.

Climax of the popular opera "Pagliacci" by Leoncacallo, pictured above, will be staged at the Angeles Civic Grand Opera Association Saturday night at 8 o'clock in the Anaheim Union high school auditorium, in a double bill with Mascagni's "Cavalleria Rusticana." Maestro F. Camacho will be music director; Elmer Bramel, assistant music director; Richard Duncan, stage manager, and M. Campanella, general and technical director.

Excitement reigned during the regular Izaak Walton charter boat trip Tuesday as Wes and Bill Dierberger aboard the "Norden" vied for ownership of a tuna with a 100 pound shark. First Bill nabbed the large tuna, but the shark chopped his catch in two before he could land it. In retaliation Wes caught the shark but Ferdinand Heying, Father of Drugs Passes Wednesdays
Ferdinand Heying, 81 years old, passed away at Anaheim capital Wednesday noon. Born Missouri, he came to California and Anaheim in 1902 and lived at the home at Rt. 2, Bay where he was a prominent rancher.
Left to mourn his passing three sons, Oscar Heying, of the Heying Drug Company this city, Alfred Heying of and Ernest Heying of Los Angeles; eight grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Holy Rosary will be observed the chapel of Backs, Cars and Kaulbars mortuary the ning (Thursday) with Monday morning at 9 o'clock Boniface church. Interment be in Holy Sepulchre center.
FOX STUDIO AGENT TO BE IN ANAHEIM
Joe Keneally of Hollywood and ballet instructor to stage screen stars, plans to star ren's classes in this city near future. Keneally will continue to be associated with Fox studio as talent scout standing young dancers vicinity. Exact date and time the classes will be announced.

Albert Frahm Services Held
Albert H. Frahm who grew up and later was a prominent automobile dealer here in Anaheim died last Tuesday at his home in Pasadena. Coming here as a boy with his family he attended our public schools and later was the head of the Frahm Oldsmobile Co. For the past few years he made his home at 2306 Lambert Drive in Pasadena. His wife, also an Anaheim girl, is the daughter of Mrs. John Kellenberger. He was 46 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Theodora Häger Frahm; one daughter, Althea Adele Frahm; both of the family home; his father, Louis Frahm of Anaheim; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Macholz of Minnesota, Mrs. Alma Parry of Long Beach and Mrs. Lydia Merhab of Santa Ana, and two brothers, Herman P. Frahm of Beaumont and Louis Frahm, Jr., of Long Beach.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Hilgenfeld chapel tomorrow (Friday) afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in Anaheim cemetery.

Proud parents are Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Munoz, 220 West Chapman avenue, Placentia, who welcomed a baby son Saturday, at Fullerton hospital.

A baby daughter was welcomed by Mr. and Mrs. Sabino Flores of 1128 Swan street, Anaheim. She arrived Sunday at the Fullerton hospital.

Anglers Battle On Charter Trip
Excitement reigned during the regular Izaak Walton charter boat trip Tuesday as Wes and Bill Dierberger aboard the "Norden" vied for ownership of a tuna with a 100 pound shark. First Bill nabbed the large tuna, but the shark chopped his catch in two before he could land it. In retaliation Wes caught the shark but when partially gaffed, the maurauer escaped.
Other misfortunes aboard the Norden included the paucity of fish. The 15 anglers had a total catch of four albacore, two tuna and one skipjack. Top honors went to Wes Dierberger with his 20½ pound albacore and second prize to Bill Trapp who pulled in a 19¼ pound albacore.
Aboard the "Happy Landings," also out of King's Landing, Newport Beach, 15 anglers enjoyed a marine trip to Oceanside and back, but boasted a catch of only two skipjack. First prize winner was Dominic Hoffman. Octave Roquet caught the other.
HAROLD BROWN BACK FROM FISHING TRIP
Harold Browning, west side rancher and lumberman, has just returned from a two weeks fishing trip in northern California with a group of Boy Scouts. He reports the fishing excellent and the eating qualities of the trout superb. The vacation also included a moratorium on shaving and he returned with a highly prized beard. His wife having different ideas the only relic remaining now is a brand new mustache of which he is very proud.
Calvin Coolidge Fields of Buena Park and Jo Ann Louise Marco of Anaheim applied for a marriage license at the county court house in Santa Ana, Saturday.

Applying for a marriage license in the county court house, Santa Ana, last Thursday were Leon Henry Kluthe of Anaheim and Virginia Rose Scott of Fullerton.
