C. Mullendore, president of the company, announced this week. Mullendore pointed out, however, that stockholders have less than a week in which to take advantage of the offer which expires on May 26. Any of the old preferred shares which have not been surrendered for exchange by that time will be called on June 3 for redemption on June 23. With over 3,300,000 shares of the old preferred stocks held in every state of the Union and in many foreign countries, the exchange operation has required intensive organization.
