Electric Coffee Percolators Are a Cherished Possession
When electric percolators were introduced, there was a revolution in the art of making coffee. The old coffee pot had to go the way of other old-time things, because electrically percolated coffee was so much better. It is clear as amber and saves the cost of an egg to clear, and that counts for something at the present price of eggs.
The electric percolator does not have to be watched—it never boils over; it is always ready and the cost of operating is nominal.
Perhaps you have one, and can attest the truth of what we have said—then think what a splendid gift one would make for some friend.
Let your dealer show you some of the new designs.

This was a good ad in 1919!
In fact with a few changes it's still a good ad. Smart housewives still prefer electrically percolated coffee (and still complain about the price of eggs). But electric prices have gone down!
Edison rates are lower than ever before!

BARTER, BANKER AND TRADE HEADS ANGLER’‘DE-BAIT’
It wasn't double dealing, but a two-way trade between C. A. Brown of Anaheim Barber shop and the Placentia Spaniard Jack Jesus Rodrigoez Ramerez Gonzales Gregg of Fullerton Airport, revealed this week by business associates. Seems Brown exchanged a membership in the Ananias Club (headquarters, Long Beach) for a half-interest in Gregg's fishing grounds in the Santa Ana river.
The U. S. S. Valley Forge, CV '45 under the command of Captain John W. Harris, USN, is now on her shakedown cruise, and will join the fleet about April 10, 1947.
