Thursday, November 7, 1946 WOMEN'S ACTIVITIES Willers-Klausing Nuptials Read at Wedding Chapel In quiet rites solemnized at the Capilla de San Antonio, Miss Leona Willers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Henry Willers of 621-A North Philadelphia street, became the bride of Henry Klausing, son of Mrs. William Klausing, of Anaheim, last Friday evening at 6 o'clock, the Rev. L. E. Elfert, pastor of the Zion Lutheran church, reading the double-ring ceremony. The young couple plighted their troth before an all-white altar flanked with tall baskets of white flowers and potted palms, with cathedral candelabra casting a soft glow over the setting. The bride, given in marriage by her father, carried a single white orchid resting on a white prayer book. Enhancing the bride's loveliness was her softly tailored navy blue suit worn with navy-toned hat and shoes and accented by a sheer white blouse and gloves. Her only attendant was Mrs. Martin Geissler, matron of honor, who chose a light blue suit and black accessories for the occasion. Serving as best man was Gerhard Clasen, brother-in-law of the groom. Paul Gilger and Martin Geissler were the ushers. Preceding the ceremony, Mrs. Elroy Oldenburg sang "Because" Mary Faust at the console of the organ who also played the traditional wedding marches. Guests greeted the newlyweds immediately following the ceremony, with the bride's mother, Mrs. Willers, choosing a black dress fashioned with three-quarter length sleeves and ornamented by tine black beads. Mother of the groom, Mrs. Klausing, wore a smart black suit with turquois accents. Both mothers wore gorgeous gardenia corsages. Artistic arrangements of white pom pom chrysanthemums appointed the long reception table at the Capilla de San Antonio. Presiding at the guest book was Mrs. Paul Gilger of Anaheim, sister of the bride. The new Mrs. Klausing was formerly associated with the Anaheim Citrus Fruit association.
