The conference was presided over by S. W. Stanley, Tustin, Ray B. Wiser, state president, and other staff members of the California Farm Bureau Federation, took part in the conference. In making arrangements for the meeting, President Wiser cared attention to the rapid growth of the bureau, which will exceed 40,000 family memberships for the first time this year. Increased membership has caused an increase in organization problems he stated. Attention was also given to the state convention of the farm bureau in Santa Cruz, October 28-November 1, and to the record-breaking national convention in San Francisco in December 8-12. The conference was led over by B. W. Stanley of Ray B. Wiser, state president and other staff members of California Farm Bureau Fed., took part in the confermaking arrangements for meeting, President Wiser called attention to the rapid growth of the bureau, which will exceed family memberships for the time this year. Increased ownership has caused an increase in organization problems, and Attention was also given the state convention of the bureau in Santa Cruz, October-November 1, and to the breaking national convention San Francisco in December 2.
