Mrs. Heinze to Head Lois Rebekah's Installation July 19
Dorothy Heinze will be seated as noble grand of the Lois Rebekah lodge of Anaheim at the next regular meeting of the group, July 19 at the I.O.O.F hall at 8 o'clock during the impressive installation ceremony, it was announced at the last meeting, Friday night.
Introduced by Helen Pannier, presiding noble grand, member of the ladies auxiliary of the Santa Ana Canton No. 18, Patriarch Milliant, presented a drill after the short business meeting.
Delicious refreshments served by Charles Pannier, concluded the affair.
Other officers, to be installed with Mrs. Heinze, will include Mildred Brubaker, vice-president; Berthyle Resinger, recording secretary; Elsie Borth, financial secretary for the 37th consecutive year, and Hannah Horwitz, treasurer.
Taylor-Tschann Nuptials Read
Lovely in a pale pink and white ensemble, Miss Barbara Taylor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Taylor of West Ball road, this city, wed William G. Tschann, son of Mrs. Eda L. Tschann, 937 North Lemon street, Anaheim in a ceremony solemnized at the St. Boniface Catholic church last Friday evening at 7:30 o'clock, the Rev. Father John Hill of that church reciting the nuptial Mass.
ceremony with Mrs. J. H. Thrasher presiding at the tea table and Miss Sally Taylor presiding at the guest book.
After cutting and sharing the first piece of their two-tiered wedding cake topped with two floral wedding bells, the young couple left for a honeymoon at Santa Catalina Island to be followed by an automobile trip.
The bride is a graduate of Anaheim Union high school and, until her marriage, was employed at the Weber Baking company, Long Beach.
Her bridegroom is associated with the Shell Oil company, Long Beach. He also attended Anaheim Union high school.
The young couple will be home to family and friends next week at 1354 Lemon street, Long Beach.
Heckmans Enjoy Family Reunion; Anniversary Party
A two fold reunion was celebrated during a dinner party, presented by Mr. and Mrs. Harry H. Heckman in honor of their younger son's Ensign Warren C. Heckman's return home on terminal leave and the seventh wedding anniversary of their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Warren L. Schutz of 603 North Zyen street, Wednesday of last week, at their home at 519 East Chartres. It marked the first time the immediate family had been together in three years.
Also enjoying the dinner were the Schutz' petite Charlene, and Harry Heckman.
Ensign Heckman arrives Saturday morning, June Norfolk, Virginia. He recalls discharge into the naval and terminal leave at Los Angeles separation center Ingleses the preceding Saturday.
He enlisted May 1943 V 12 program, receiving mission at Cornell after attending Warrensburg and assisting shipman at Pottsburg.
Service in the Atlantic Ocean Midway, huge air craft sister ship of the USS Roe One of the original offenses was stationed on the Midfore she was commissioned.
His brother, Harry H., served as a corporal with 1284th Combat Engineer pany C, in the European Pacific theaters of battle listed in the army December 1942 and received his last February.
Schutz is an attorney; 403 Bank of America firm of Friis and Schutz.

Children's and Youth Recognition Day was observed the White Temple church last Sunday morning at 10:45 o'clock with Rev. Swift Sears, pastor, delivering sermon, "Unlimited Help occasion."

A host of immediate family relatives and close friends witnessed the double-ring ceremony, with cathedral candelabra casting a soft glow over the setting.
Enhancing the bride's loveliness was her white flower hat with tiny veil. Accenting the softly tailored lines of her gabardine suit, was a gorgeous corsage of three gardenias. She was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Miss Sue Taylor attired in a pale yellow suit worn with brown accessories. Paul Tschann, brother of the groom, served as best man.
In an atmosphere of gay spring flowers and lighted white tapers, a reception was held in the spacious Taylor home following the

Ensign Heckman arrived here Saturday morning, June 15 from Norfolk, Virginia. He received his discharge into the naval reserve and terminal leave at Lilac-Terrace separation center in Los Angeles the preceding Saturday.
He enlisted May 1943 on the V-12 program, receiving his commission at Cornell after training at Warrensburg and as a midshipman at Pottsburg. He saw service in the Atlantic on the USS Midway, huge air craft carrier, sister ship of the USS Roosevelt. One of the original officers, he was stationed on the Midway before she was commissioned.
His brother, Harry Heckman served as a corporal with the 1284th Combat Engineers, Company C, in the European and Pacific theaters of battle. He enlisted in the army December of 1942 and received his discharge last February.
Schutz is an attorney-at-law, 103 Bank of America building, firm of Friis and Schutz.
White Temple Has Recognition Day
Children's and Youth Choir Recognition Day was observed at the White Temple Methodist church last Sunday morning at 10:45 o'clock with Rev. Hayden Swift Sears, pastor, delivering the sermon, "Unlimited Help" for the occasion.
Miss Edith Browne, talented vocalist, interpreted "Come Ye to Me" by Beethoven.
The children's verse choir, under the direction of Miss Lelia
Brown, presented "Church Bells" and The One Hundredth Psalm. Directed by Mrs. Elva Andrews, the intermediate youth choir gave Sergie's "My God and I" with Dan Demaree and Mary Jo Duncan singing the duet part, and "Thy Will Be Done" by Elliot, sung by Jo Ann Burdick, Betty Rees, Mary Jo Duncan and Elizabeth Osborn.
Intermediate choir members include Tommy Brown, Joan Burdick, Dan Demaree, Willard Danker, Marjorie Cranston, Duane Duncan, Edward Glenn, Elva Lynn Glenn, Druary Danker, Teddy Brown, Mary Alice Alenius, Ethelyn Uubricht, Joanne Soden, Betty Rees, Barbara Rees, Elizabeth Osborn, Ruth McCarty, Joanne Kellogg., Raymond Hutson and Mary Jo Duncan.
A Cathedral film, "Who Is My Neighbor" was presented during the evening at the church.
Orchestra Each Wednesday At Teen Canteen
Of interest to local teen-age dance fans, is the arrival of Raul Garcia, "his trumpet and his orchestra" next Wednesday night at
the Teen Canteen, 133 West Center street, beginning at 8 o'clock in a festive July 4th eve celebration, Richard Glover, canteen director, disclosed. This is the beginning of a summer series of Wednesday night canteen dances featuring popular orchestras.
Joe Bill's 16-piece orchestra will interpret rhythms for the following "swing fest," July 10.
Next Wednesday also marks the beginning of the summer membership drive with cards renewable or obtainable for July, August and September for $1.00.
Aquatics head the summer program with regular recreational swimming periods to commence next Monday at Anaheim Union high school pool from 7 to 9 o'clock under the supervision of Glover.
Any teen-ager interested in entering into the canteen's extensive summer activities may call Glover, phone 4278.
Mexican Revue Due Here July 7
Anaheim Union high school auditorium will be the scene for the American debut of the Los Tres Vaqueros when they appear with the "Fiesta Mexicana" revue Sun-day, July 7 at 2 o'clock early noon with Hurtado famed Marimba orchestra.
Sponsored by Francisco publication, the Los Queros, were recently most popular ranchero guitarists by the Comfort of Mexico City.
Tickets for the revival sale at the Blu-company at 157 W-street. Reservations may be called Anaheim 485.

JAMES KILDUFFS LEFT YESTERDAY FOR SHORT TO COLORADO
Mr. and Mrs. James Kilduff, owners of the Children's Shop, 232 West Center street, left yesterday afternoon for Colorado where they will visit Mrs. Kilduff's brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. S. C. Sanderson and other relatives, while they await the completion of the spacious headquarters of their shop on North Los Angeles street.
