The deadline for flower show entries has been set for Friday, June 21, when all exhibits must be in place for judging.
The flower show itself is sponsored by the auxillaries in Huntington Beach, Newport Harbor and Orange, with Mrs. Lloyd Chenoweth and Mrs. E. D. White as coordinators. Members of the central committee in charge of arrangements include Mrs. Raymond Beem and Mrs. J. K. McDonald, Huntington Beach; Mrs. Verne W. Quilts, afghans, bed-spreads, table clothes and rugs have been listed as the qualified entries into the hobby section.
Rules require that as many articles as the entrant desires will be accepted but that each article may be entered in only one class section, but may compete for the grand prize in the class entry.
Judging will be made by number only, with participants asked to have no notification or identifications of the articles before and while judging is taking place. Facilities will be available for making any notations desired to pin on the entry after the judging is completed.
The deadline for hobby section entries is scheduled for the day before the fair opens, June 19.
