State Income Tax Experts Coming Last of February With income tax very much to the fore at present in all minds, Anaheim residents will be interested in learning that a tax expert will be in the city hall on Feb. 28 and 29, to confer with them regarding their California personal income tax. F. R. McReynolds, area income tax supervisor, has written Secretary Ross Lee Laird of the Chamber of Commerce, asking the chamber's cooperation in arranging a place for their representative and in acquainting the public with the terms of the tax ruling. The state's personal income tax requires that all single persons with a net income of $2,000, and married persons whose net income is $3,500 or more, must file a return whether a tax is required or not. The rate is one per cent on the first $10,000 of taxable income. The interval from March 1 to 15 has been set aside for federal income tax experts, two of whom will be on duty, also in the city hall as they were last year.
