Up to now this space has been filled with remarks about post war planning, patriotism, faith, war and peace. You’ve probably had enough of that for the time being so for 1944 it will be different. From now on we will talk about Anaheim, the city with a heart, “In the heart of the Valencia Orange District!” 1944 is a brand new year. It is a clean page on which we can write new history for Anaheim. The New Year stands before us waiting for us to mark up our record of achievement. This should be easy for us. Folks in other towns might shudder at such a task but we in Anaheim will do it with the greatest of ease because we have the best town on earth. The best people in the world live in Anaheim. The most generous people on earth live here. Our climate is the best to be found anywhere. Working together we can make Anaheim the best known city in America.
