It was a thrilling sight to see once more the neons and bulbs glowing up and down Center Street. The blaze of lights marked a long step toward the goal of ultimate victory. Our sons and daughters brought light back to Anaheim and America. We are proud of their achievement. They are proud of their victory. Uncle Sam's children away from home expect to return and find home the same secure, comfortable place they left. Our job is to keep it that way. By doing this we bolster the morale of our sons and daughters on the fighting front. They take courage from the assurance that when they return they will find peace in home sweet home.
