Since release a few days ago of certain rulings handed down by the Southern California office of the War Manpower Commission, whereby people engaged in essential activities must secure direct referral from their local United States Employment service to move from one essential job to another. In order to clarify the matter, George R. So that our vital food crops may be produced and harvested, our Uniter States government has made it as easy as possible for workers to engage in agriculture, and for this reason they may move freely in any type of work on the farms. Questions confronting any grower concerning this recent ruling may be discussed at the Farm Labor office, 414 W. Fifth street, in Santa Ana.
