Dak., had another renewal this past week-end for Albert M. Cranston of this city and Harold Van Horn of Hudson, Wisc., when Mr. and Mrs. Van Horn were house-guests of the Cranstons in their home, 206 South Rose street. As little boys, the two life-long friends cherished the ambition of becoming railroad engineers, an ambition which Van Horn has realized as he is engineer on the Northwestern RR on the run from Chicago to Minneapolis. The local soloist and vocal teacher made his railroad interest only a hobby. The two friends get together whenever possible, and the recent reunion came during a trip which Mr. and Mrs. Van Horn are enjoying on the coast. That is the amount of electric energy Edison furnished war industries alone in 1942, in addition to our regular service to all our old and new customers. Yet your electric service remains as usual at your command, 24 hours each day, asking for no ration points and no increase in pay.
