Keeping these principles in mind Sunday and every day, we cannot be swayed by bigotry and suspicion; cannot be led into stirring up strife among ourselves. We will find heartiest meaning in the pledge of allegiance to the flag, one nation, one people, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
Those Who “Take It” Say Times Are Better Than They’ve Been In Years
Take it from the boys who “take it”—the tax collectors, times are better today in Anaheim and Orange county than they’ve been for some time. That was the opinion reflected this morning by County Tax Collector Don Mozley, who stopped in to say, commenting on the recent publication of county delinquent tax lists, that never in his recollection has the percentage of delinquencies been so low.

existing in this County, I announce myself as a Candidate for the office of Sheriff of Orange County.
I have resided in this County for over forty years, and much of that time has been spent in law enforcement departments — for a number of years as highway patrolman, as Chief of Police, and in investigation.
This experience qualifies me for sheriff and will enable me to cooperate in all co-ordination work with the army of the United States.
Every citizen can be assured that I am not connected with any questionable interests, clique or organization which would deter me in honestly, fairly and justly enforcing the law for my employers, the voters of Orange County.
