City Offers Facilities To Army
At Council Meeting Tuesday Night
Anaheim offered its facilities to the Army Tuesday evening at a meeting of the City council, and today were waiting a reply to their letter, addressed to Lt. Gen. John D. Witt, Western Defense comander in Sacramento, in which use of the city’s parks, and property was extended to soldiers in the area.
Other business at the meeting included passage of a resolution for the removal of weeds and other undergrowth from vacant lots within the city limits.

CIRCUS DELAYED
Russell Brothers All-American motorized circus, scheduled to play to Anaheim on April 14 will appear here on April 28 instead according to an announcement by the show's publicity department.
The circus has a permit from the city to occupy the property of the Community Industrial Land company, north of the city on that date.
PLANNING MEETING
Regular County Planning Commission meeting tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock, to be held in Santa Ana, will be attended by Millard Parks, of the Anaheim Planning department.
