MISS MARIE WEST IS HONORED AT BRIDAL SHOWER
Miss Marie West, bride-elect of Arthur Webb of Los Angeles on December 30, was honored with a miscellaneous shower given by Miss DeLyte Focht at the Focht home on 507 S. Citron st. Friday evening.
Decorations were in white and selver bells and favors. The table holding the gifts was centered with a large bouquet of white and pastel flowers between crystal candlesticks. In the living room, there were floral arrangements of roses and camelias.
DAINTY DESSERT
Before the honored guest was presented with her gifts, a dainty dessert course was served by the hostess and her mother, Mrs. W. Ralph Focht.
Guests included the Mesdames Floyd West, mother of Marie, Mabel Taylor, Elizabeth Hillary, Mabel Bratt, Elsie Kaska, Lucille Oden, Ruth Chance, Alma Ruth Hilgenfeld, Sybil Ring and Elizabeth Schutz, all of Anaheim, and Lenore Lewis of Bell and Ethel Russell of Orange.

And that's the story behind Citra-Gold products and their popularity achieved in seven years. The answer is quality. Quality products from fruit grown in this locality.
Products of the company made from local citrus fruits now include orange, lemon, lime, and grapefruit juices, concentrates, two grades of essential oils, bottler's bases, sherbet bases, peel for candy manufacturing and several miscellaneous products.
CITRUS JUICES
From the whole citrus fruits comes juices. After the juice has been extracted, essential citrus oils are processed from the peels, the pulp is sold to be dehydrated for dairy feed.
These waste eliminating processes involved were Mr. and Mrs. Silzle's ideas. They pioneered them, improved them, until today a wide variety of manufacturers as well as American homes, use Silzle products products, including beverage bottlers, wholesale bakeries, and candy makers.

Greet State Regent
At Fullerton
Although weather was unfavorable, about 90 Daughters of the American Revolution met at the Fullerton Methodist church Tuesday to greet the state regent, Mrs. Perry Wallace MacDonald. The re-gents of the ten chapters of this district with Mrs. Albert Karlen representing the Anaheim chapter acted as hostesses.
A delicious luncheon was served at 12:30 p.m. by the young ladies of the church. The daughters then returned to the church parlors where Mrs. Ralph Daniel Stover, regent of the Mojave chapter of Fullerton, called the meeting to order. Following the reading of the 103rd Psalm by the chaplain of the Mojave chapter, Mrs. A. R. Volk, the daughters joined in the Lord's prayer.
TWO SONGS
Mrs. Archibald Edwards of Fullerton sang two songs by Charles Wakefield Cadman after the American's creed had been given.
