NOTICE OF HEARING PETITION TO ESTABLISH BIRTH OF RALPH KLEMM.
The petitioner having filed with the Clerk of the Superior Court of the State of California, in and for the County of Orange, his petition praying that the record of the fact of the birth of RALPH KLEMM be judicially established;
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Clerk of said Court that the hearing of said petition will be had before said Superior Court in Department One thereof in the Court House in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, on the 14th day of November, 1941, at 10 o'clock A.M. of said day, at which time and place all persons interest in said matter are notified to appear and contest the same, and show cause, if any they have, why said petition should not be granted.
For further particulars reference is hereby made to said petition on file in my office.

FORMER EVA ROY AND BRIDEGROOM GIVEN RECEPTION
A surprise reception for Mr. and Mrs. Victor Orsini, (the former Miss Eva Roy) was given at the recent bride's parents' home, Mr. and Mrs. D. G. Roy of 808 N. Pine St. Sunday evening.
It was an open house affair at which the closest friends and relatives of the former Miss Roy attended.
As the newly married couple approached the door of the Roy home, Mrs. J. A. Otto, aunt of the bride, played "Here Comes the Bride."
Mrs. Orsini was gowned in a light blue gown with a white gardenia and red rose corsage. Her two sisters, Lucille and Annette, wore pink formals and had a gardenia in their hair.
They poured at either side of a long table which was beautifully decorated with pink roses, white candles, fern and centered with a wedding cake set on crystal pink glass.
Mrs. Roy received in a black net formal with a red rose corsage, given to her by her daughters. Music during the evening was played by Mrs. Leo Philipson at the piano.
Special guests were Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Otto of Los Angeles, uncle and aunt of Eva; Mrs. Albina Adams, grandmother of the bride, of Springfield, Mass.; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Adams of Orange, uncle and aunt; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Potvin of Anaheim, uncle and aunt, and their two children, Betty and Charles; Mr. and Mrs. Leo Philipson of Laguna, uncle and aunt; and Rocco Stellato best man at the ceremony.
Ballroom Class Entertained With Hallowe'en Party
Students of the seventh eighth grade in Ramon Raver ballroom class were entertained Tuesday night with a Halloween party at the Richards-M Dancing Studio.
The studio was banked on corn stalks, balloons and au flowers with a giant spooky rounded by black cats, ba and pumpkins. In this joyfulmosphere several games played that ended with a Jones dance.

NOTICE
COUNTY TAXES DUE AND PAYABLE
Notice is hereby given that the taxes on all personal property secured by real property, and one-half of the taxes on all real property are due on the first day of November, and will be delinquent on the fifth day of December next thereafter, at five o'clock at the piano.
Special guests were Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Otto of Los Angeles, uncle and aunt of Eva; Mrs. Albina Adams, grandmother of the bride, of Springfield, Mass.; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Adams of Orange, uncle and aunt; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Potvin of Anaheim, uncle and aunt, and their two children, Betty and Charles; Mr. and Mrs. Leo Philipson of Laguna, uncle and aunt; and Rocco Stelleto, best man at the ceremony, also from Springfield, Mass.
Mr. and Mrs. Orsini, accompanied by Mr. Stelleto, left yesterday by car via the southern states for Miami, where they will fly to Havana, Cuba, and then continue up the east coast to Springfield. They will begin to build a home there as soon as they arrive.
Mr. Orsini is a machinist and the owner of a large garage in that city. Mr. Stelleto is his business partner.
The former Miss Roy is a graduate of Anaheim high school and after a recent tour under the employ of the Look Magazine company, she was working at the palladium in Hollywood.
B & P Women Have Spanish Dinner At Carleton Home
Vincenta Carleton gave her annual, much-anticipated Spanish dinner to members and guests of the Business and Professional Women's club at her home at 118 W. Adele St. Thursday evening.
Treasures and collections from Spain and Mexico which have been collected by Miss Carleton on her trips to these countries decorated her home. During the evening, an "earthquake" game was played which proved both novel and hilarious. Spanish musicians from Placentia provided appropriate music atmosphere to the occasion.
Two new members, Minnie Koehler and Gale Cleveland, were introduced by the president, Miss Marjorie Pibel. Guests who were present were Jeanne Mudge, Katherine McCullah, Kate E. McCullah, Jean Shere, Janet Tschann, Fannie Pritchet, Amy Anderson, Stana Rauch and Ethel Campbell.

NOTICE
COUNTY TAXES DUE AND PAYABLE
Notice is hereby given that the taxes on all personal property secured by real property, and one-half of the taxes on all real property are due on the first day of November, and will be delinquent on the fifth day of December next thereafter, at five o'clock p.m., and that unless paid prior thereof eight per cent will be added to the amount thereof, and that if said one-half be not paid before the twentieth day in April next, at five o'clock p.m., an additional three per cent will be added thereto. That the remaining one-half of the taxes on all real property be payable on and after the twentieth day of January next, and will be delinquent on the twentieth day of April next thereafter, at five o'clock p.m., and that unless paid prior thereto, three per cent will be added to the amount thereof.
All taxes may be paid at the time the first installment, as herein provided, is due and payable.

Callroom Class Entertained With Hallowe'en Party
Students of the seventh and eighth grade in Ramon Ramerez room class were entertained Tuesday night with a Hallowe'en play at the Richards-Martin Recording Studio.
The studio was banked with stalks, balloons and autumners with a giant spook surrounded by black cats, balloons and pumpkins. In this joyful atmosphere several games were played that ended with a Paul Rees dance.
Refreshments of cider, doughnuts, fruits, candy were served. Local Members at Eastern Star Week In Long Beach
Several members of the Chispa Chapter of the Eastern Star attended the yearly meeting of grand officers of the state of California this year held at the Municipal Auditorium at Long Beach all last week.
The first four days were business sessions with speakers and election of officers. Installation was held Friday night with about 8,000 people in attendance.
Those who stayed for the full time were Mrs. Nellie Harpster, Mrs. Margaret Hasty, Mrs. Margaret Hedges, Mrs. Vera Baum and Mrs. Eva Boyd. Those who stayed part-time were Mrs. Elizabeth Cathley, Mrs. Edith Greeder, Mrs. Calvar Wilson, Mrs. Louise Dahlman, Mrs. Myreta Organ and Mrs. Mary Jane Anderson.
Book Section of Ebell Club Meets
The first regular meeting of the book section of the Ebell Club was held at the clubhouse Monday afternoon with Mrs. D. Jerry Yongs, leader, presiding.
Reviews of current book favorites were given by members of the section. Mrs. Leo J. Friis reviewed "Keys of the Kingdom" by A. Cornin and Mrs. Yongs gave summarizations of several late fiction books.

Ebell Club Section Sees Fashion Show
The Child Study Section of the Ebell club met last week to view a fashion show presented by Mrs. James Kilduff, owner of the Children's Shop of Anaheim.
Models were chosen from the children of the members. Following the fashion parade, dancers from the Richards-Martin studio of dance gave a musical program. The dancers were Barbara Ann Ryan, Delores Wollenman and Janet Fakuda. Piano accompanists were Mary Ellen Middleton, Jewel Walker and Janet Streshly. Mrs. Charles Pearson was in charge of the music.
Refreshments were served by the tea committee, Mrs. E. T. Bradley, Mrs. Joe Wilmore and Mrs. Cortez Hoskins, Mrs. Albert Raymond poured at the tea table.
This section of the Ebell club will meet again in the first part of November.
Pickel, chairman, Mrs. Paul Davidson, Mrs. Liewellyn Wilson and Mrs. R. L. Royalty, were in charge of refreshments.
The section will meet again November 24.

DAR Broadcast To Be Given Tuesday
Mrs. Effie L. Nicholson of Santa Ana, chairman of the county radio committee for the Daughters of the American Revolution, has just notified the Mother Colony Chapter of Anaheim that next Tuesday, November 4, the Santa Ana chapter will present a program over station KVOE from 12:45 to 1 p.m. in the first of a series of three months' broadcasts on the general theme, "What the Daughters Do."
The quarterly business meeting of the Calvary Baptist church will be held Wednesday, November 5 at 6:30 p.m. at the church. The building committee will have important recommendations to make to the church. Plans were made last week for the coming of Dr. Charles Durden, of Los Angeles, recently elected Evangelist for Southern California State Baptist Convention. He will hold an evangelistic meeting for two weeks at the Calvary Baptist church beginning Sunday, February 9 and ending February 23. He is the former pastor of the Calvary Baptist church in Pasadena.
