Donald Fehlman, the administrator of the estate of Lillian S. Fehlman, deceased, having filed his verified petition, praying for an order authorizing and empowering him to execute a contract for the purchase of a tractor to be used in cultivating the orange grove possessed by said estate.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all persons interested in said estate to appear before the said Superior Court, Department of the Presiding Judge, at the Court House in Santa Ana, Orange County, State of California, on Friday this 8th day of August, 1941, at 10 o'clock on said day, to show cause, if any there be, why an order should not be granted to said administrator, authorizing and directing and empowering to execute a contract for the purchase of a tractor. Reference is hereby made to said petition for further particulars as to terms of said contract of purchase.

Death Takes Toll Of Local Folks
The grim reaper visited Anaheim during the fore part of the week, exacting toll among those of advanced age who had lived in this community for a number of years. Among those passing to the great beyond were:
MRS. EMMA PELLEGRIN
Mrs. Emma E. Pellegrin, 66, for the past 35 years a resident of this city, passed onward Monday night at her home, 875 S. Citron St. A member of the First Presbyterian church she was active in its workings. For a number of years she was secretary of Anaheim Realty board. Surviving are the husband, Alfred E.; a daughter, Anna A.; a brother, O. M. Moerner, all of this city. A brother, Rudolph Hoerner, resides at Santa Fe Springs. Funeral service will be conducted today at Backs, Campbell and Kaulbars funeral parlors with Rev. Stanley George, First Presbyterian church, conducting. Burial will be made in Fairhaven cemetery.
MRS. MATTIE WOODROOF
Mrs. Mattie Woodroof, 88, a native of Georgia and for the past 22 years a resident of Anaheim, died Monday afternoon at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Beatrice Hord, 501 S. Citron St., after an extended illness. Two other daughters, Mrs. Margaret Ewing, La Habra Heights; and Mrs. Lucille Lowen, Long Beach; three sons, G: O. Woodroof and W. D. Woodroof, both of Texas, and L. W. Woodroof of Oklahoma; a brother, H. O. Hunton of Costa son, Lloyd L., of Placentia daughter, Mrs. Blanche Sheeham, Anaheim; three sisters, Agnes McMillan, Mrs. Ha Jergens, both of San Diego, Mrs. Blanche Bahmke of Hood; four brothers, Oscar Man, Burbank; Rynard of Bernardino and Paul and W. both of Seattle, Wash. Service were conducted at 10:30 morning at the Backs, Camps and Kaulbars mortuary with Don Earl Boatman, pastor of Church of Christ, conducting terment was made in Loma cemetery.

Funeral services for The Arr Hall, 28, former resident Fullerton, who passed away Los Angeles last Thursday evening, were held Monday at 2:30 from the Hilgenfeld mortuary Rev. K. Hawley Jackson, pastor of the Placentia Church of Nazarene conducting.
Surviving are the widow, Lis; a son, Robert; a daugher Sherrill, both of Fullerton; Mrs. Susie Gage of Fullerton brother, Leonard Anaheim a sister, Mrs. Wint Nickle Placentia.
OHIO PICNIC REUNION
The annual summer picnic union of the Federation of societies will be held next Saturday in Sycamore grove, Los Angeles, the festivities last all day A good program of commuting singing, vocal and instrument music will follow the baskets dinner hour. Harry B. Ge president of the federation be in charge of events.

Burial was made in Anaheim cemetery. Deceased was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
MRS. JULIA ARCHER
Mrs. Julia Archer; 58, 129 West South St., went beyond Monday at St. Joseph's hospital. A native of Minnesota she had resided in Anaheim since 1909. Surviving are the husband, Mervine W.; a bids, whether written or shall be accompanied by or a certified check in an equal to at least twenty (20% cent of the bids as a guarantee) faithful performance, and upon failure of the bidder to pay theance of the purchase price at that a deed and policy of title is issued to him such deposit shall be forfeited to them.
This property is offered the understanding that in the said City is unable to convey free and clear of encumbrancescept restrictions, conditions and so present may increase the higher for any parcel by a bid at least (10%) per cent higher than the thereof; and thereupon the Council will entertain additional bids. All bids, whether written or shall be accompanied by or a certified check in an equal to at least twenty (20% cent of the bids as a guarantee) faithful performance, and upon failure of the bidder to pay theance of the purchase price at that a deed and policy of title is issued to him such deposit shall be forfeited to them.
With each deed the City deliver to the purchaser a posttitle insurance to be issued by Orange County Title Company amount not to exceed the purchase price, insuring the title to be purchased free and clear of all encumbrances except conditions, restraints and rights of way of record.
The City Council reserves right to reject any and all bids ed. In the event that no writereceived on any parcel, the bill will entertain oral bids upwards and prices herein set forth for the time of sale herein set forth.
