Hein-Peter Vows Will Be Take Wedding Followed By Reception In Church Lounge One of the largest weddings of this month of brides will take place tomorrow night at the First Presbyterian church in Santa Ana, when Miss Margaret Hein and Elmer A. Peter of Anaheim will be joined together in a double-ring ceremony by the Rev. Mr. U. S. Schauer of the Evangelical Church in Anaheim. The bride's gown will be of white slipper satin, princess style, with dainty pleating setting off a sweetheart neckline. She will carry a shower bouquet of white gardenias, mondevillea and bouvardia centered with an orchid. SISTER IS MATRON Matron of Honor, Mrs. J. P. Weaver of Anaheim, sister to the bride, will be dressed in a powder blue mousseline de soir with ruffling from the bodice of the dress completely encircling the skirt. The bridesmaids will all be dressed in mousseline de soir in different shades. Mrs. Elwin Earl of Burbank, the former Jean West, will wear aqua blue; Miss Wanda Smith of Anaheim in peach; the junior bridesmaid, Miss Barbara Lee Hein, sister of Margaret, in yellow; and the flower girl, Miss Doris Holve of Anaheim in pink. Miss Hein is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Hein of 925 W. Center street and attended Anaheim high school and Fullerton Junior college. She is working at the J. C. Penney Co. and will continue to work after her marriage. YLI SETS DATE FOR INSTALLATION OF NEW OFFICERS In order to plan the meeting for the installation of new officers on July 7, the Young Ladies' Institute of St. Boniface church met Tuesday evening at Odd Fellows' hall hall. Before the business meeting, the group enjoyed a pot-luck dinner. Miss Agnes Callens, president, conducted her last meeting as plans for the installation were made. Officers to be installed are president, Vernia Pohlmann; first vice-president, Marie Lenain; second vice-president, Beatrice Gregor; recording secretary, Irma Peltzer; financial secretary, Beryl Kennedy; treasurer, Mae LeVecke; marshal, Elvera Heinz; trustees, Agnes Heeter, Frances Millings, Hellen Fassel, Leona DeWitt and Elizabeth Jones; outside sentinal, Betty Wetzel; inside sentinal, Alice McCarthy; and organist, Bernie Heinz. Edward Alcott of Santa Ana spoke after the business meeting on the manufacture of china dishes. Plans for the future include a beach party at Corona Del Mar on June 24 and a social evening of badminton, cards and sewing at Marie and Nell Robertson’s home in Placentia on June 27. These two events will be sponsored by the athletic and ways and means committees, respectively. Guests from Long Beach for the evening were Miss Peggy Maloney and Miss Elizabeth Cross. Mary Ellen Truxaw Will Wed in St. Boniface Church Gowned in a white marquisette train and veil, Miss Mary Ellen Truxaw will join hands with David Max Mari Saturday morning at the St. Boniface Church and will be married by her uncle, the Rev. Mr. Joseph J. Truxaw of Los Angeles. Miss Truxaw is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. J. W. Truxaw, 887 S. Los Angeles St. The groom is the son of Mrs. Max Mari, 485 Cavour St., Oakland. The bride will carry an orchid and cascading bouvardia bouquet and a prayer book. Her maid-of-honor is her sister, Louise Ann Truxaw, who will be assisted by Misses Janice Peek, Mary Louise Ganahl, Mary Montague, Annette Schurich. The maid-of-honor will be dressed in a blue marquisette, while the assistants will be in pink with Queen of Scots hats and heart Bouquets. Miss Carol Truxaw, the flower girl, will be dressed like the maid-of-honor and will carry a basket of flowers. The groom’s best man is Dennis Ahern and ushers are John Truxaw, Robert Truxaw, Stiles McLaughton and Eman O’Connell. About 400 persons are expected to attend the morning ceremony. The church will be decorated with white stocks and gladiolas on the altar and the aisle posts with white sweet peas. WCTU Hear Two Officers Speak Twenty-five members of the Anaheim WCTU met at the ranch home of Mrs. Rebecca Johnson on North St. Tuesday for an all day meeting. Speakers following an outdoor pot-luck dinner were Mrs. Violagie Nelson of Newport Beach, county flower mission committee member, and Mrs. Pearl Kendall Hess, state scientific temperance instructor. Mrs. J. H. Daugherty, president, presided over the entire meeting, which ended with two vocal solos by Mrs. LaGaska and Mrs. Nettie Anderson, both of Anaheim. Friends Compliment Matteuccis Home Sixteen friends of Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Matteuccis gave them a housewarming Thursday evening at their new home at 500 S. West St. Homemade cake and ice-cream was served and the honored couple were presented with a lovely mirror for their new living room. RELATIVES VISIT Richard Berg's grandmother, Mrs. Lena Berg from Pomona, came to Anaheim to see him graduate. She came and stayed a week at his home at 412 S. Helena St. and left Wednesday. Patricia Graham's grandmother, Mrs. Towers, her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James Graham, all from Corona travelled to Anaheim to watch Patricia receive her diploma. Several uncles and aunts of Jack Planting came from Los Angeles for the Baccalaureate and graduation. They were Clyde Alling and family, Earl Alling, Nellie Alling, Mrs. Leola Radcliffe and Mrs. McNamara. FAMILY DINNERS Following graduation, Robert Cox greeted his uncles and aunts from Baldwin Park and Los Angeles. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Ott and son, Willard of Baldwin Park and Lloyd M. Pristh of Los Angeles, with daughters, Connie Mae and Marilyn were at the family dinner. McKees Return Mr. and Mrs. L. J. McKee and daughter, Peaches, of 149 N. Lemon St., returned Sunday from a two-weeks' trip through northern Iowa and Minnesota. Mr. McKee's mother, Mrs. T. S. McKee lives in Chester, Ia. He had not seen her for 12 years and they stayed with her for a week. They also stopped in northern Minnesota where most of Mrs. McKee's relatives live and went across the border into Canada. They returned on route 66 through Des Moines and Kansas City. Placentia Ave. Saturday evening. White magnolias and white candles in silver candlesticks decorated the home and the honored guest received many lovely gifts from her friends at the shower. H. Stockwell on Webster Rd., Saturday night. The party was held on the lawn and colorful lanterns and lights displayed the yard. A clever game was played which consisted of dressing bottles in bridal costumes without scissors or thread. The table with the best costumes won a prize. Twenty-eight guests were present including Mrs. Henderson, Mrs. E. H. Brunemeier and Lois' sister, Beth. **Valada Club Holds Meeting** The monthly meeting of the Valada club was at the home of Mrs. E. L. Hackley of E. North street with twelve members, making three tables of bridge present. **Presbyterian Juniors Hear Musical Solos** Monday evening the Presbyterian Junior Auxiliary met at the home of Mrs. Robert Baker at 900 N. Clementine St. for its last meeting until September. President Mrs. Eldon Paddock presided over the business meeting which was followed by a musical program. Miss Ruth Ellen Taylor Next Week! Miss Ruth Ellen Taylor played four numbers on her violin accompanied by Miss Susan Hilbers. They were "Dancing Doll" "Andanti," "Stardust," and "Perpetual Motion." Miss Hilbers played three solos on the piano, "Scherzo," "Pralludium," and "Polichinelle." During the evening, the members prepared surgical dressings for the Presbyterian hospitals. Hostesses, Miss Corinne Buzzell, Mrs. Stafford Minder and Mrs. Robert Baker served dainty refreshments in one course.
