Frenchy Loumagne pitched the winning game Tuesday, having trouble in only one inning. Leonard Smith was on the mound last night, but was up against too much opposition.
The Aces close the Stockton series tonight and then move to Merced for a week-end series. They return to Anaheim next Tuesday to meet Bakersfield and will remain at home for two weeks.
The Aces wound up their two-game series with Riverside with an 11 to 5 victory last Thursday night, scoring nine runs during the eighth-inning rally. Len Smith was the winning pitcher, having relieved Tony Jeli in the seventh.
San Bernardino swept the weekend series, slaughtering Anaheim, 18 to 4, during a rain-swept five-inning contest Friday, and taking a pair of 4 to 3 decisions in the Sunday doubleheader. The Saturday game was postponed.

San Bernardino swept the weekend series, slaughtering Anaheim, 18 to 4, during a rain-swept five-inning contest Friday, and taking a pair of 4 to 3 decisions in the Sunday doubleheader. The Saturday game was postponed because of wet grounds.
The first game Sunday went 17 innings before it was decided. Gus Hallbourg hurled the first 16 rounds, but gave way to Jeli in the 17th, and Tony was charged with the defeat. Jeli went right back to the mound in the nightcap and was again charged with defeat.
Several personnel changes were made at the close of the series, with Catcher Shannon Denniston, Shortstop Verl Bright and Outfielder Hal Webster drawing releases. Signed to replace them were Prouty, Wittig and Frazier, infielder, outfield and catcher, respectively, all of whom had been with the San Bernardino club.

Santa Ana Sweeps To Track Crown
Santa Ana Dons spread-eagled the field in the Orange Empire jaysee conference track and field meet at San Bernardino last Saturday, amassing a total of 109 1/6 points. Fullerton, in second place, scored only 36 5/6 points.
The Dons won egibt first places, placing three men in as many as five events. They gathered the huge total without the services of Eddie Morris, brilliant sprinter who didn't compete because of a pulled muscle. No meet records were broken because of the soggiess of the track.
