Junior Ebell Event
The Junior Ebell benefit board was a success Saturday afternoon after those who attended report. It given for the club's contribution to the Hazel Hurst Foundation the blind and netted more than $100.
Mrs. Virgil Harman was general chairman. The highlight of afternoon was the appearance Robert Lee Johnson, KFI bldg expert, who explained the new bridge rules and talked about minutes on bridge.
Mrs. Eldon Paddock, chair of the decorating committee arranged silhouettes of the presidents around the walls of clubhouse. She also had white and blue sweetpeas in vases. On the stage were tall baskets of tinted red, white and blue calla bliss. The cloths and tallies carried out same patriotic motif and in center of each table was a little white pottery animal with cactus plants.
The dessert course pre-cooked play with Mrs. Dick Hanning heading the refreshment co-tee.
In the receiving line were A. P. M. Brown, sponsor of Junior Ebell, in pink lace; Laura Gene Frantz, president blue chiffon; Mrs. Virgil Harman vice-president and general man, in red crepe with soot and Mrs. Helen Grant Apple blue lace and chiffon.

Senior Ebell Event Outstanding Success
The Junior Ebell benefit bridge was a success Saturday afternoon, with who attended report. William Hansen Weds Eastern Girl
William Hansen, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. F. Hansen, of 412 S. Olive St., was married the morning of March 8, to Miss Lucy Morin, of Winchendon, Mass. The wedding took place at Winchendon.
Miss Morin was a dental assistant.
Mr. Hansen was a student at Anaheim union high school, Fullerton junior college, and the University of California, at Berkeley. After graduation he took a position as forest ranger at Alturas, Calif., where he and his bride will make their home.
