Storm waters from the park's drainage system will also flow into the street. Work is Speeded Paving of La Palma street will be done as rapidly as possible, the engineer declared. It is hoped the street will be open before, the heavy rains set in. Work orders from WPA are expected shortly after the first of the year. It is believed that at least a month will be required to obtain enough men to form a crew. Rudy Boysen, park superintendent, will direct the development of La Palma park for the city, it was said. The project is expected to require about five months to complete.
