Lodi To Stage
Wine Festival
Sept. 18 to 20
Focusing attention upon the rapid return to world prominence of California's grape and wine industry, the third annual Northern San Joaquin County Grape and Wine festival will be staged in Lodi, September 18, 19 and 20.
Co-operating with Lodi in making the forthcoming celebration the "biggest and best" in the community's history are the towns of Acampo, Woodbridge, Victor, Lockeford, Clements, Youngstown and other grape and wine producing districts of the county, according to the festival committee.
Special features of the celebration will include practical demonstrations of wine making, exhibits of choice grapes, spectacular street parades, an electrical water pageant, air circus, athletic events and carnival attractions.
Lodi, famed as the home of the flame tokay grape, is also known as one of the largest wine producing sections of the world. Practically the entire output of tokay grapes in this country comes from vineyards within 30 miles of Lodi, the records show.
The Lodi district boasts more than 40 wineries, with a total annual production exceeding 20,-000,000 gallons. One of these wineries, with a capacity of 6,000,000 gallons, is declared to be the largest in existence.

ELECTROLUX
Gas Refrigerator provides continuous freezing!
REFRIGERATION is no STOP and GO procedure with an ELECTROLUX
The chilling process is continuous. Just set the control for the degree you want. Electrolux maintains that temperature more evenly than any other refrigerator.
UPPER CHART illustrates the wide temperature variation in the freezing compartment, required by motor-driven refrigerators.
LOWER CHART shows the slight temperature variation of Electrolux freezing compartment.
ELECTROLUX Principle of Refrigeration
ICE FORMS HERE
WHEN HEAT APPLIED HERE
BECAUSE it requires no compressor mechanism—no motor to stop and start many times a day—there is no interruption in the cycle of Electrolux refrigeration.
And Electrolux is efficient, not only the first year; it is efficient every year during a lifetime that is unbelievably long. Moreover, Electrolux is permanently silent.
Through its superior performance, long life, silence and low operating cost (it uses natural gas) the modern Electrolux brings you important advantages embodied in no other automatic refrigerator. See the new models at your dealer's or gas company.
Electrolux continues to outsell any other automatic refrigerator in Southern California.
