Townsend Club Holds Party Twenty tables were in play at the Townsend Number One club card party Tuesday evening at the club rooms on South Clementine. The game of "500" proved to be the most popular with eleven jables, with five of pinochle and four of bridge. Mr. James Hildreth not only held the right number on the admission ticket, but also received high honors for bridge. Mr. Frank Newton took second for the same game. For pinochle Mrs. Gus Keister and Mrs. M. J. Higgins held high scores, and Mr. B. Stoffel and Mrs. Jacob Mang first and second respectively for the other game of the evening.
