proposals will be received by
the City Council of the City of
Anaheim at the office of the City
Clerk of said city, up to the hour
of eight o'clock P.M. of Tuesday,
the 28th day of April, 1936, for
furnishing to said city one motor
pick-up street sweeper.
Said proposals shall indicate the
full cash price, also the price with
deduction for trade-in allowance
of said city's present sweeper.

Twenty tables were in play at
the Townsend Number One club
card party Tuesday evening at the
club rooms on South Clementine.
The game of "500" proved to be
the most popular with eleven
jables, with five of pinochle and
four of bridge.
Mr. James Hildreth not only
held the right number on the admission ticket, but also received
high honors for bridge. Mr. Frank Newton took second for the same game. For pinochle Mrs. Gus Keister and Mrs. M. J. Higgins held high scores, and Mr. B. Stoffel and Mrs. Jacob Mang first
and second respectively for the other game of the evening.

Said proposals shall indicate the full cash price, also the price with deduction for trade-in allowance of said city's present sweeper.
Each proposal must be accompanied by photographs, drawings and complete specifications of the equipment proposed to be furnished.
Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check payable to City of Anaheim in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00). Such check of the successful bidder will be held by the City until the delivery and acceptance of the sweeper.
The City Council of said city reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
