Committee members in charge of the program are Lee Launer, Bert Ford, Ruth Gilmore, Jean Launer, and Bill Wickett. Willis Jolly is general chairman of the committee on arrangements and Dr. Graham C. Hunter, advisor. Dorcas Society Installs New Officers Officers for the new year were installed at a dinner meeting of the Zion Lutheran Dorcas society last Thursday night at the church bungalow. Miss Mary Maass is the new president with Mrs Erick Winger the retiring head Corsage bouquets, presented to each of the officers, and the retiring executive board were made by Mrs. William Klausing. Sweet peas in pastel shades and ferns were used in decorating the banquet tables. The program featured a talk by the Rev. H. G. Knoernschild. Sutherland of the Orange county health department on the tuberculosis skin test featured the meeting of the high school P. T. A. this morning at the home of Mrs. T. W. Clark at Claire and Western streets. An outline of the study of taxation as requested by the California state legislature was presented by Mrs. W. T. Kirven of Garden Grove, fourth district president. Mrs. C. E. Harbeson was in charge of the group discussion. A number of guests from San Bernadino attended the meeting. Easter Motif Used for O. E. S. Program An Easter motif featured the meeting of the Eastern Star chapter Tuesday evening at the Masonic temple when nests of brightly colored eggs and baby chickens were combined with spring flowers in appointing the refreshment tables. Fruited gelatine, cookies, and coffee were served by the hostess committee. During the program hour, Miss Margaret Campbell of Anaheim gave two readings, "Discipline" and "Be Good to My Stomach." Dinner service was in charge of members of the Ladies' Aid under the direction of Mrs. M. E. Beche. Orchestra music was provided during the dinner hour. Church finances were discussed by Rev. T. H. Walker at the business session which followed the dinner. The annual meeting of the church will be held at an early date.
