Anaheim, Calif., March 12, 1936 Mrs. Harker Takes Charge Of Service Reverend Ray C. Harker of the White Temple Methodist church turned last Sunday evening services over to Mrs. Harker, who varied the usual program with a dramatized reading of poems. The general theme of the services was "Faith," built around the hymn "How Firm a Foundation." During her talk Mrs. Harker expressed the thought that Faith is related to the future as memory is to the past. In the dramatization of several poems, among them "Daisies Faith," by Johanna Matthews and "Sister and I" by an unknown author, Mrs. Harker more clearly brought out the meaning of Faith. Mrs. Harker was assisted by the choir, and by Mr. Coffman, the choir leader, who sang "Evening Prayer" by Charles H. Gabriel. On the evening of March 27th Mrs. Harker will give an entertaining program at the church, consisting of humorous readings.
