And so much for fish.
Art Bradley, Exalted Ruler of the Elks took a lesson in parliamentary law last Sunday afternoon. He couldn't understand why Mayor Charley Mann took a runout ... well he knows now. But here's a warning Art ... you ain't seen nothing yet ... wait 'll some time when the Legionnaires get into a real scrap. That was just a lotta horseplay ... you know kidding one another.
Gosh, now another Smith has gone and got on the wrong side of the fense ... Al's kicked over the traces ... tsk. tsk. tsk... sucn carry'ns on ... how these Smits will get in the dog house.
And speaking of Smiths ... asked Ray what he planned to use his bonus for and whadyuthink he said ... a furlined dog house with doors that swing both ways ... wonder just why ... huh?
And speaking of dog houses ... Harry Akerman says I'm all wrong he does like dog food ... that is if the dog's a real pet ... pork chops and what have you.
Now that Jim Bouldin is under arrest his alibi is that a horse is just a hobby with me. You know Jim and his gang of highbinders got themselves in a jam this past week by stealing a perfectly good hobby horse that belongs to me ... that is I guess it does.
Monte Webb has been after me to dig up some information about a hotel that was torn down here about 1906 ... he says that he worked on the destruction ... and I never tumbled to what he wanted it for ... he just wanted to prove that he worked once.
I still don't believe it.
