Laura Divignon Married On Thanksgiving
A wedding of note of the Thanksgiving holiday was that of Miss Laura Davignon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Davignon of Anaheim, to Ernest Danielson, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Danielson of Orange. The vows were taken at a candle-light ceremony at four o'clock during the afternoon of November 28th, at the First Presbyterian Church in Orange. Reverend M. L. Pearson, former Pastor of the First Presbyterian church read the ritual.
The church was a beautiful power of white pom-pom chrysalis her own wedding, and a white bride's bouquet.
In the wedding party were two sisters of the bride, Mrs. Richard Sollows as matron of honor, wearing a dress of green crepe with gold slippers and accessories, and Mrs. Claude Taylor as bridesmaid, whose dress was of gold crepe, each carrying a bouquet of gold and bronze chrysanthemums; Robert Blanchar, life-long friend of the groom, as best man and Leo Beeson as usher.
About twenty-five close friends and relatives were entertained at a Thanksgiving dinner at the Marigold Cafe following the congratulatory period. The beautifiully appointed table held as the center piece a three-tiered white wedding cake, and was lighted by tall white tapers.
Mrs. Danielson is a graduate of the Anaheim Union High school and Fullerton Junior College, and Mr. Danielson a graduate of Orange Union High School and Santa Ana Junior College. Upon their return from an unannounced wedding trip the young couple will be at home to their friends at 109 North Grand Avenue, Orange.

Mr. Taxpayer---
You and Others Defeated the $12,000,000 Water Bond Issue On October 4th.
There was more excuse for us voting for them then than now. You didn’t know the facts as they have come out since.
The board of supervisors who staged this election as directors of an Orange County Food Control District, are determined to IGNORE YOUR VOTE and put this bond over in spite of you.
They can’t do it as a flood control district for six months, so THE SAME MEN sit now as SUPERVISORS.
They proceeded to carry on propaganda proposing to use taxpayers’ money to be the taxpayers to vote for the bonds until THEY INCURRED $6,000 indebted, supposedly with YOUR MONEY.
THE PAYMENT OF THIS MONEY IS NOW BEING HELD UP BY THE COUNTY AUDITOR WHO DECLARES THAT TO PAY THE MONEY WOULD BE USE OF PUBLIC FUNDS.”
The taxpayers have no other way to meet the expenses of a campaign themselves.

The taxpayers have no other way to meet the expenses of a campaign themselves
except to dig down in their own pockets. They themselves have to pay it. They can
get taxpayers' money or even a promise of it. They have no chance to get any
from the treasurer's office through the supervisors or anywhere else.
The money used against the bonds must COME FROM THE TAXPAYERS THEMLVES THROUGH DONATIONS.
And so the Associated Water Users of Orange County, an organization of the
taxpayers, ask that each of you enroll as a volunteer worker, whether you are able to
attribute to the fund against the bonds or not.
