Anaheim Conservatory of Music Program To Be Held In City Park Theater Friday Celebrating the 15th Anniversary of the establishing of the school here, the Anaheim Conservatory of Music will present an elaborate program in the City Park Theater tomorrow (Friday) night. On June 15, 1920, Mrs. A. Siegel and her two daughters, Elizabeth and Anna marle arrived in Anaheim coming direct from Berlin, Germany, where Mrs. Siegel had conducted a school of music and languages under the patronage of members of the Berlin Society, having acquired this position after studying and teaching in Paris, London and Copenhagen. On July 1, 1920, the Anaheim conservatory was started in the Schindler building at 422 West Center Street. These quarters were occupied until January 1922, when the conservatory moved into its own new home at 705 West Center street where it has had a very successful existence. In commemoration of the 15th anniversary, Mrs. Siegel has arranged a program that will show how much this particular institution has contributed to the musical culture of the city of Anaheim. The program includes piano, violin, voice and dancing. The ages of those taking part range from three to the senior grade. There will be no admission charged to the theater and the public is cordially invited. ON PROGRAM LEE ANN MILLER Three-Year-Old Tot who will appear on a program of the Anaheim Conservatory of Music, in the City Park Friday Night. Help! Hellup! Can't Spell It! Anyway, you folk that really know how to spell it will excuse the error this time and next time he says anything about it, we'll tell you that it's rabbit fixed up in a most delectable German style with all the required trimmings. He also said he was going to serve chicken ... well we know how to get by with that one. Here's our first guess on the first one: "Hossenpfeffer." Second guess: "Hazenpfeffer." Third guess: "Hosenpfeffer." Now you guess. Will let you have three guesses too. SMITTY SAYS Took in the ball game last Friday night at which time—whaddayacallum—Olivettes, Olivenes, Olivites? well anyway the gang from Olive kinda poured it into the local boys. Must have poured a lot of olive oil on the bats er something. However, we'll have to hand it to Jimmy—the said the game wasn't over till the last batter was out. Among the prominent fans in bleacher seats was Bill Webb who had as his body guard, Dave Proud and Charley Easton. Bill didn't make much noise nor did he break up his new kelly (alfalfa of course.) Didn't see any of the boys in the grandstand . . . it must cost more er something. One unusual thing I noticed was that some of the players argued with the umpire over decisions . . . Have to admit that some of them looked bad . . . but then so did the local boys when they got three on with one out . . . and still lost the game . . . by two runs . . . Anyway, the boys should let the umpires have his way . . . you know they will anyway. Guess some of the boys forgot they were playing baseball . . . They led with the one-two-three punch and then went back to their corner for a minute while another rassled with the overhard delivery—no it wasn't overhand it was windmill type delivery . . . anyway ! ! umps decided three skins was enough.
