The unique features of this plan were presented by Mr. Ferris speaking to the Rotary club Monday noon. "The subscriber signs a promise to pay either in cash or over a period of years. The trustee collects these payments and issues a Certificate of Trust to the subscriber and pays off the returns guaranteed to the subscriber or his beneficiary. The lodge pays the trustee and the cost of the insurance coverage. The insurance covers the lives of all subscribers to the certificates with 35-year endowment insurance in an amount of one and one-half times the amount subscribed and this is done without medical examination, excepting for those past sixty years of age and those subscribing in excess of $1,000."
