WATER COMPANY LEVIES
ANOTHER ASSESSMENT
Three Dollars Per Share Must Be Paid
By Stockholders
At the meeting of the Anaheim Union Water company directors Saturday it was voted that an assessment of $3.00 per share be levied upon the subscribed capital stock of the Anaheim Union Water company, payable on or before the 20th day of March, 1922, to the secretary at the office of the corporation at 303 East Center street, Anaheim, California. Any stock upon which this assessment shall remain unpaid on the 31st day of March, 1922, will be delinquent and advertised for sale at public auction and unless payment is made before will be sold on Friday, the 28th day of April, 1922, to pay delinquent assessment together with the cost of advertising and expense of sale. Upon roll call vote, Directors Hale, Tuffree, Thamer, Miller, Annin and Rust voting "Aye," Director Holmes voting "No." Motion carried.
Oil committee reported on conditions on the Amalgamated lease and recommended that the secretary be instructed to write the Anaheim Sugar company regarding the stoppage of the overflow pipe from the small reservoir. Upon motion the report was accepted and secretary instructed to write the Anaheim Sugar company regarding the above.
Pumping plant committee reported regarding flood water that ran gines in place of electric motors for pumping and recommended that one gas engine be installed.
M. W. Archer reported on steam, gas and crude oil engines for pumping. No action taken.

A Pierotti came before the board regarding flood water than ran through his place and requested that company permit him to turn this waste water into the company ditch. Upon motion this was referred to the ditch committee to investigate.
Engineer Pratt came before the board with plans and specifications for two Pratt dams to be constructed near the company head gate. It was moved by Tuffree, seconded by Miller, that Engineer Pratt be instructed to complete plans and specifications for the two dams and submit these plans to the board at the next meeting. These plans and specifications to be the property of this company. Motion carried.
Moved by Thamer, seconded by Annin, president and secretary be instructed to sign agreement with the Edgar T. Wheeler company for additional piling to be driven near the head of the ditch.
Communication read from the city of Fullerton, regarding a right of way for pipe line to replace the open cement ditch on the south side of Walnut Park sub-division, Fullerton. Upon motion this was referred to the ditch committee with power to act. Communication from the city of Fullerton requesting this company to lower and straighten pipe line which runs west from Highland on Chapman avenue, the city of Fullerton agreeing to pay for the cost of same. Upon motion this was left to the superintendent, he to make necessary changes when satisfactory grades, etc., are furnished.

Property owners to pay one-fourth the cost and the city one-fourth the cost. Upon motion the proposition was accepted and the superintendent instructed to make this change.

Communication read from the Amalgamated Oil company announcing the abandonment of Anaheim well No. 30 on the Amalgamated lease. Oil reports of the Amalgamated Oil company, St. Helens' Petroleum company and Gilmore Petroleum company were read and ordered filed.
Attorney Head reported regarding franchises which this company held along certain county roads and submitted prepared statement to the county auditor regarding these franchises. Upon motion, president and secretary instructed to sign above mentioned statement to county auditor.
Mr. and Mrs. Leo J. Sheridan and their little daughter and Roy River, of Cresco, Iowa, drove to San Bernardino on Sunday and attended the orange show. Mr. River is a brother of Mrs. Sheridan, and has been visiting relatives here. He will return to Iowa next week. They found the orango show a splendid exhibition of citrus fruits, and a large crowd in attendance.
