You will note that the gross production has decreased each year. Our royalty has shown a very marked increase this year; the price of oil since June being almost double that under our old contracts, and our income for the last six months more than double that of the first six. INCOME
We note an increase of over $12,000 in water deliveries for the current year, our water sales having been the greatest in the history of the oompany. The months of March, April, October and December showed the largest increase.

You will note that the gross production has decreased each year. Our royalty has shown a very marked increase this year, the price of oil since June being almost double that under our old contracts, and our income for the last six months more than double that of the first six. The production at the end of the year shows a slight increase, and it is probable that next year our income from this source will be much larger.
INCOME
We note an increase of over $12,000 in water deliveries for the current year, our water sales having been the greatest in the history of the company. The months of March, April, October and December showed the largest increase. Our oil income is also increased, as previously noted.
EXPENSE
The expenses of the company for the past year have been under the normal. Very little new construction has been necessary. The report of the superintendent, herewith attached, covers this, as well as a statement of the work contemplated for the year 1918, should circumstances allow its completion.
The undersigned, members of the Board of Audit, have carefully examined all books, papers and other records appertaining to the business of the Company for the year ending December 31, 1917, and find that the same have been kept-in a correct, neat, clear and intelligent manner, and that the foregoing is a full, true and complete report taken from the books covering the above mentioned period.

The following is a summary of the larger items of permanent construction of the past year.
KRAEMER AVE. PIPE LINE—A concrete pipe line 5806 feet in length, composed of the following sizes: 1359 ft. of 20-in.; 5812 ft. of 22-in.; and 635 ft. of 18-in. Total cost of this line was $3111.18, of which property owners paid $1290.63. This line does away with the same length of open ditch.
GOLDEN STATE PIPE LINE—This consists of 3000 ft. of 20-in. and 2300 ft. of 14-in., and cost $650.93. By the construction of this line the Company will be able to dispose of a large amount of winter water.
ORANGETHORPE AVE. PIPE LINE—This consists of 990 ft. of 20-in. line constructed at a cost of $588.33, of which the property owners paid $294.17. This line does away with the same amount of open ditch.
NORTH ST. PIPE LINE—This consists of 1762½ ft. of 14-in. line, which takes the place of the old dirt ditch between Palm and Citron streets, Anaheim. Total cost of this line was $617.31, of which the property owners paid $208.74.
PLACENTIA AVE. LINE—This consists of 125 feet of 42-in. line which was laid in front of the Placentia Fruit Company’s ranch, and does away with the same amount of open ditch. Cost-of-line $384.08, of which the Placentia Fruit Co. paid $192.04.
WEST BROADWAY LINE—This consists of 1440 feet of 14-in. pipe line which runs from the west line of So. Walnut St. west, and connects two pipe lines, doing away with a bad open ditch. Total cost $495.29.
EAST OF GARDEN GROVE ROAD—This consists of a 16-inch pipe line commencing at the east line of Garden Grove road on the north line of Sparks property and runs east a distance of 560 feet, doing away with the same amount of open ditch. Total cost to the company $213.78. All hauling and digging was done by Mr. Sparks.
EAST SANTA ANA ST—This consists of 376 feet of 14-in. line constructed along the south side of East Santa Ana St., Anaheim, between East St. and Placeia Ave., and takes the place of the same amount of open ditch. Total cost $229.81, of which property owners paid $76.
WAGNER PIPE LINE—A pipe line 2896 feet in length as follows: 621 ft. of 12-in.; 1087 ft. of 14-in.; and 1188 ft. of 16-in. This is an extension of a line east of Valencia Ave. Cost $942.24 and $488.61 of this was paid by the property owners.
STRAIN LINE—102 feet of 14-in., and 24 feet of 8-in., through the property of Mrs. M. Strain. Cost $61.56, of which amount Mrs. Strain paid $25.78.
SPADRIA AVE. LINE—84 feet of 18-in., line in front of the residence of J. E. Jones. Cost $51.56, or which Mr. Jones paid $32.36.
NORTH BRANCH PIPE LINE—Total=1314 feet of pipe line consisting of the following sizes: 706 ft. of 20-in.; 576 ft. of 14-in.; 16 ft. of 20-in.; and 16 ft. of 8-in.The work on this line was done by the Company under an agreement with the Pacific Electric Company. Total cost of same $1569.60, which will be paid by the P.E.NORTH ST.LINE—This consists of 90 feet of 14-in constructed on the North side of North St., between Los Angeles and Lemon St., Anaheim, and does away with the same amount of open dirt ditch. Total cost $34.17, of which $17.08 was paid by property owners.
VENTURI TUBE—This tube was constructed in the main ditch at Yorba Linda at a cost of $867.43. When an automatic measuring device which we now have is attached we will be able to ascertain the exact amount of water flowing in this ditch at any time.
SIPHON NO. 4—This siphon was practically completed in 1916 but a final pay-
SPADRA AVE. LINE.—84 feet of 18-in. line in front of the residence of J. E. Jones. Cost $51.56, of which Mr. Jones paid $22.36.
NORTH BRANCH PIPE LINE—Total of 1314 feet of pipe line consisting of the following sizes: 706 ft. of 30-in.; 576 ft. of 14-in.; 16 ft. of 20-in.; and 16 ft. of 8-in.
The work on this line was done by the Company under an agreement with the Pacific Electric Company. Total cost of same $1569.60, which will be paid by the P. E.
NORTH ST. LINE—This consists of 90 feet of 14-in. constructed on the North side of North St., between Los Angeles and Lemon St., Anaheim, and does away with the same amount of open dirt ditch. Total cost $34.17, of which $17.08 was paid by property owners.
VENTURI TUBE—This tube was constructed in the main ditch at Yorba Linda at a cost of $867.43. When an automatic measuring device which we now have is attached we will be able to ascertain the exact amount of water flowing in this ditch at any time.
SIPHON NO. 4—This siphon was practically completed in 1916, but a final payment of $1272.09 was made in January, 1917.
SIPHON NO. 8—A final payment of $1146.24 was also made on this siphon in January, 1917.
TRASH REMOVER—This is a mechanical device, patented by Mr. Francis Cuttle of Riverside, operated by water power and designed to remove all moss, brush and other refuse which may be thrown into the ditch. It is installed in the main ditch at the east end of Flume 12 and cost $700.00.
The following are some of the principal improvements considered at the present time to be installed during 1918:
1. A cement reservoir at P. P. No. 1, of sufficient capacity to hold 300-in., 12 hours.
The installation at this point of a booster pump capable of delivering 350 inches of water into the Caljon Canal. Approximate cost of reservoir and plant $9,000.
This improvement is in order to take care of the Placentia district in case of shortage of water in river.
2. Cementing of as much of the main canal near the head of the ditch as conditions will permit.
3. About 3000 feet of 24-in pipe line on North Garden Grove road South of Orangethorpe Ave.
4. About 850 feet of 22-in. line on No. Citron St., Anaheim, South of Sycamore St.
5. Pipling of East St. ditch between Sycamore and North St., Anaheim.
6. A pipe line to take the place of the open ditch on S. Cypress Ave., between Chapman Ave., and the E. E. corner of John des Granges property.
7. About 1400 feet of pipe line on Cypres Ave., from west end of Booster line South.
PROSPECTS FOR WATER FOR 1916—The following is an estimate of the amount of water we will be able to deliver from Pumping plants:
P. P. No. 1...600-in.
P. P. No. 2...650-in.
P. P. No. 3...300-in.
P. P. No. 4...325-in.
Total of...1775-in., or 2000-in., if above mentioned repairs are completed.

IT IS ORDERED BY THE COURT.
That all persons/interested in the estate of said deceased appear before the Said Superior Court on Friday, the 8th day of February, 1918, at 10 o'clock A.M. of said day, at the Court Room of Department 1 of said Superior Court in the Court House in said County of Orange, State of California, to show cause why an order should not be granted to the Administrator of said estate to sell all of the real estate of said deceased as may be necessary.
AND THAT a copy of this Order be published at least four successive weeks in the Anaheim Gazette, a newspaper printed and published in said County of Orange.
That certain real property situate, lying, and being in the County of Orange, State of California, and described as follows, to-wit: Lots Fourteen (14) and Fifteen (15) of the Town of Richfield, according to a map thereof recorded in Book 31, page 61, Miscellaneus Records of Los Angeles County, California.

D. 1918, to me delivered on the same day, together with the said writ annexed thereto, whereby I am commanded to sell at public auction for cash, lawful money of the United States, the following and in said decree, described real estate: Situated in the County of Orange, State of California, and bounded and particularly described as follows, to wit: Lots One (1) to Sixteen (16), Forty-seven (47) to Seventy-eight (78) One Hundred Four (104) to One Hundred Thirty-five (135); all inclusive, of the Cypress Park Tract, as per map recorded in Book 7, Page 38 of Maps, Records of Orange County, California; also Ten (10) feet by Eighty-four and 5-10ths (84.5) feet along the Westerly line of Lots Thirty-two and Thirty-three (32 and 33) thereof. Together with tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining.
Public notice is hereby given that on Friday, the 1st day of February, A. D. 1918, at 11 o'clock A.M. of said day, I will proceed to sell at the south door of the court house, In the City of Santa Ana, at public auction, to the highest bidder for cash, in lawful money of the United States, all the above described real estate, or so much thereof as will be sufficient to satisfy said decree for principal interest and all costs.
