Resolved, that Directors Bradford and Hale be authorized to notify Doran and McCormack that they may furnish and put in the company oil pipe line at their own expense, proper connections while such pipe line is being constructed and without any assurance that this company will allow such connections to be used; but if said Bradford and Hale shall find such connections may be used to deliver said Doran and McCormack oil under a safe and satisfactory contract they shall so report to this board for such action as it may think best.
Mr. Coakley asked the board to guarantee him that the A.U.W. Co. would not bring suit against him if he put in a pumping plant at Richfield, in the sandwash, and pumped water to the oil district north of the north branch ditch. Mr. Coakley was informed that any such action would be at his own peril.
