NOTICE
To my friends and patrons and the general public, I will state that for some time I have felt that the jewelry business was too confining for me and as Mr. Dietrich's optical business has grown to demand all of his time, I have decided to retire from the business, and being unable to find a purchaser with the required amount of capital, I have decided to close out my entire stock of jewelry at auction. After a careful investigation of the character and reputation of all of America's leading auctioneers, I have employed Mr. A. C. Bruce of New York City, because of that gentleman's high reputation for fairness and truthfulness regarding the price and quality of goods. His representations are correct and can be relied upon. He is a gifted and eloquent man and has had long experience, having sold around the world, and to the world's most artistic purchasers. He has a pleasing personality and high ideals and I turn my friends and customers over to him with perfect confidence that they will be as well treated as I could On all Millinery trimmed hats for a few days only, 33 1-3 per cent discount.
