Head Advisor Veale of Pasadena visited the Woodmen of the World at a meeting on Thursday evening. He delivered an interesting address which was listened to by a large assemblage. The camp will on April 10 receive a visit from Head Consul Boak of Denver. An open meeting will be held, one of the features being a wood-sawing contest between teams from the local and Santa Ana camps. The opera-house will be reopened on Sunday and Monday evenings, March 28 and 29, with the Talk-oScope, which is said to be one of the best entertainments on the road. New chairs have been installed, together with a new maple floor and other improvements, including a $450 piano. John Schumacher will be the manager, and the best of order will be maintained.
