Officers elected are C. Amberg, president; C. Lange, vice president; R. Krastel, secretary, and R. Fischle, treasurer. The club is non-political upon national issues, but favors just and liberal laws for the government of the people. At its last meeting its members were addressed by Mr. Kaestner of Los Angeles, who dwelt upon the need of German-American associating more closely for the betterment of their fellow-citizens and the uplift of the community. The Germans are among the most desirable foreigners who come to our shores, and it is very rare such immigrants do not make the best of citizens. Success to the club.
