Mr. Brown is a lover of horseflesh, and has the distinction of having witnessed all the principal racing events in Southern California for a number of years past. He has a personal acquaintance with horseowners, and aims never to miss a race. He has seen Silkwood, Klamath, McKinney and all the other notables of the track perform, and possesses a fund of information concerning turf events for years past.
