Quayle will make his headquarters at the southern pathological laboratory at Whittier from which the campaign of extermination of the destroyers of the orange and lemon groves will be waged. A number of the entomologists of the university will assist Quayle in the work. Rafael Borrego, sentenced to serve seven years in San Quentin for the killing of Juan Orosco at Los Alamitos last August, was Tuesday taken to serve his sentence. Deputy Sheriff Lacy took the prisoner to state prison. Capt. and Mrs. Williams, accompanied by Misses McKay, Johnston and Parker, spent two days last week at Stodards' Camp.
