KENNEDY & FAMILY The body of an unknown boy was washed ashore at Sunset Beach Tuesday morning and was found by Dick McGarvin, a fisherman. The body is that of a boy who went out from East San Pedro on Sunday in a boat in company with another boy, whose name is not known. Their overturned boat washed ashore at Alamitos Bay Monday. The body found at Sunset Beach was turned over to Coroner G. S. Smith. It was of a boy about 14 years of age. He had brown hair, wore a blue suit of clothes with knee pants, black shoes and stocking, union underwear, and a yellow, brown soft shirt. He had a golf ball, a pair of shoe strings and 5 cents in his pockets. It is believed his companion also drowned. Paul Leniar of West Long Beach identified the corpse as that of a lad to whom he rented the skiff which was washed ashore when the tragedy occurred.
