On Dec. 31, 1858, she was maid Horace Eells. Her home was consin until August, 1904, when her husband came to A where they have since resided. Mrs. Eells became a christian early childhood and lived concord the profession she made. Her life was one of implicit faith and in the Saviour. Soon after coming California she and Mr. Eells used letter with the Presbyterian church Anaheim, of which church she faithful member at the time death. With always a word, a cheerful smile and a shine of divine grace beaming her face, her life and her noble tian character were a constant bition to those who came into herence. San Francisco for Taft San Francisco, Feb. 25.—By a vote of 18 to 9 the republican county committee formally indorsed Wm. H. Taft last night and thereby foretold its probable rejection of the state central committee's request for uninstructed primaries, May 2. The Taft resolution was introduced by Tom McGee, after T. R. Sullivan had obtained postponement of consideration of the state central committee's call for primaries and a convention. Assemblyman Peter G. Kelley of the Twenty-eighth district seconded the resolution, which was as follows: "Resolved that the republican county committee of the city and county of San Francisco hereby indorses the candidacy of William H.
